In order of increasing energies: # radio waves, passes through ozone. # microwaves, passes through ozone, but there are some resonances in "spinning" the molecule at a few tens of frequencies. # infrared, ozone absorbs some infrared... it is a molecule with more than two atoms. # visible light, very little interaction with all but blue. # ultraviolet light, UV-A passes through, UV-B and UV-C are absorbed. # X-rays, absorbed. # gamma rays, absorbed. Now it is important how much ozone is available along any given path for absorbing the radiation. Gases are very sparse, so "completely absorbed" doesn't happen. In addition, UV-C and more energetic are absorbed by all gases in our atmosphere. Ozone is unique in absorbing UV-B, and shares absorbing infrared with things like methane and water vapor.

Why wont aftermarket radio turn on with correct premium sound wiring harness in my 1997 4runner?
Check your fuses
I recently installed an aftermarket stereo and had the problem of the unit turning on and off repeatedly. The factory ground wire was to thin/weak. I grounded my new unit directly to some metal that was inside the dash where the stereo was to be mounted. It worked well and stayed on after that.

What station would have waves with higher energy 90.5 MHz or 107.1 MHz?
107.1 MHz has higher energy photons.
The photon energy increases directly proportional to frequency.
However if the station operating on 90.5 MHz transmitter's power is 1.184 times or higher than that of the station operating on 107.1 MHz transmitter's power, then the 90.5 MHz signal will have higher energy because the additional photons makeup the difference. The total energy in electromagnetic radiation is the product of the energy per photon and the number of photons (i.e. amplitude of the wave) in the radiation.
