Why does your 15 fuse for your radio cig lighter etc in your Toyota Avalon continue to blow after being changed?

make sure that the new fuse is he same amps as the old one.(manufacturers specs).'''Don't put a bigger one''' a fuse would blow for the following reasons overload, and or a short. or an open. replace the fuse again if it blows you may have to have the circuit check by a pro. if you decide to put a bigger fuse to kep it from blowing '''electrical fire will most likely occur''' If your lighter has been used a lot, they often will cause a short; I would replace it or disconnect it and see if that cures the problem.

How do you remove the radio in a 1993 Buick Park Avenue?

First remove the woodgrain trim on the dash by carefully uncliping it, and then removing the wires for the heated seats and passenger climate control. Then open up the drivers door and unclip the panel on the end of the dash(which has an air duct for the door) Then remove the 7mm screw on the end of the dash. You can now unclip the dash panel, you will have to move the gearshift down, so park on a level surface so the car wont roll. You can then remove the screws that hold the radio in and pull it out.

You just bought a Mitsubishi montero sport 1997 and the stereo is lock do you know the code or how can you get the code to unlock the radio?

Contact the dealer from where the Montero was originally purchased (new from showroom). Give them the Chasis number and they will provide you with the stereo lock code from their records. In-case the code is same for all 1997 Montero sports models then use the number 9613. This is the audio code of my Montero sport 1997 . Maybe it works in yours too! Good luck.

What does it mean whe it says that a radio station has 102 megahertz?

That number is the 'frequency' of the radio waves transmitted by that station ...

the number of times the wave wiggles in one second. "102 megahertz" means

102 million every second.

Right now, in your room and in the air around you, there are thousands of radio

signals from AM and FM broadcast stations, police cars, taxis, ambulances, cell

phones, airplanes calling the air-traffic controllers, TV stations on the ground

and TV satellites in space, GPS satellites, and RADARs watching for rainstorms.

The only way your radio is able to pick out the one you want to hear and discard

all the others is to separate them according to their frequencies. If there are

four radio transmitters all close enough to you and all on the same frequency,

then your radio can't separate them, and you hear them all at the same time.

That's why there are never two TV stations in the same city on the same channel,

or two radio stations on the same number.

The digital clock in your 2003 Toyota Corolla LE has stopped working The radio works fine Is there a separate fuse for the clock and where would the fuse be located?

A common problem with Toyota clocks is that some of the solder joints go bad. At first the clock will start going dead intermittently, and then eventually it will stop working completely. I made this video with instructions on how to fix it yourself using a soldering iron:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lFwKA2dDb94

If you are uncomfortable doing it yourself, I will do it for anyone for a fee of $25 with free return shipping. If interested, email me at: toyotaclockrepair@gmail.com

When did the radio program The Young Forty Niners play1940's or 1930s?

The Young Forty Niners radio show definitely aired in the early 1930s. When I was a pre-schooler, I remember my mother ordering a Young Forty Niner cut out set that included covered wagons, figures of people and animals that made the trek to the gold fields of California. Although I am almost 82 years old, I can still remember her setting up the cutouts on the dining room table.

What novelty song has the phrase and in the rear is Beetle Bomb?

That was Doodles Weaver calling the horse race on the recording of the

William Tell Overture by Spike Jones and his City Slickers. (I mean that

Spike Jones recorded it. Gioachino Rossini composed the overture.)

Beetle Bomb was one of the horses running in that race.

There was another Spike Jones recording where Doodles Weaver called a car

race. The cars were all numbers, but when the winner of that one crossed the

finish line, it was Beetle Bomb again. I'm not sure, but I think that record could

have been the City Slickers' treatment of Ponchielli's Dance of the Hours.
