as a example if ur using 30 GHZ as the RF, then if u downconvert these to some thing around 2GHz, now RF is 30 GHZ, IF1 is 2GZ---etc.

only because we know how to separate the signals, pick out the one we want to hear,

How that's done is: Radio receiving equipment is able to listen to one frequency at a time,
and ignore all others, and the licensing system makes sure that there are never two

Commercial FM stations in the US are licensed to operate on frequencies in the range

your radio can't separate the two; you get noise and interference on the station you want,

the regulations that govern radio transmitters, and follows the terms of their licenses, that
never happens. The next nearest station or device that's licensed to radiate legally at
101.1 MHz is many miles away from you.
And by the way . . . that's why we need an FCC, and licensing of radio transmitting equipment.
