How do you reset an unpowered blocked XJ8 radio after changing the car battery?

Most Radios need the Radio Code punched in from the radio key pad. Call the Jaguar Dealership and ask for the service department. Tell them you need your radio code. They will ask the last 6 numbers of your VIN (Vehicle ID Number) and they will tell you it. It is usually a 4 digit number.

When I called a dealership in Las Vegas, Nevada, the service department said they also required the serial number from the radio itself! Which of course involves pulling the unit out of the dash.....turns out XJ8 models destined for the USA don't need code re-setting to work.

Goldwing GL1100 radio has no sound from speakers is there a quick fix?

Check your wiring harness to make sure the the wires leading from the stereo to the speakers have not been severed or do not have corroded connections. If all is well there, then the problem could be with the stereo itself. You didn't mention if you still have a working display on the radio itself, but if it doesn't seem to be getting power, you could also be looking at a blown fuse, and they are pretty simple to check.
If your bike is 1980-85, remove the left fairing glovebox by removing the two screws at the top lip, and two screws at the bottom lip, then lift the box straight up out of the fairing.
Underneath, you will see a small mess of wires leading into the radio unit. Look at the red wires and follow them from the radio out. You should run into a white fuse holder on each line. Open the holder (carefully) by grasping each end of the holder and pushing the ends toward one another, then gently twist the ends in opposite directions. This will separate the holder, exposing the fuse inside. Make sure the piece of metal or wire running through the length of the fuse is whole, and uncut. Replace the fuse with a matching good one, and repeat the process for the other fuses nearby. You should see three or four fuse holders in total.

Radio Works Horn Works Lighter doesn't 1988 Blazer?

Sounds like a fuse or wiring problem to me. Probably best to check the fuses first since in most vehicles it's easier to access the fuse panel, than yanking out the dashboard to check wiring.

How many AM broadcast stations can be accommodated in 6 MHz bandwidth of each station transmits a signal which was modulated by an audio signal having a maximum frequency of 5 kHz?

-- So long as the AM modulation index doesn't exceed 100%, only one set of

sidebands exists, and the spectral width of an AM signal is double the highest

modulating frequency ... 10 KHz in this case.

-- Dealing strictly with the arithmetic ...

6 MHz/10 KHz = 600 AM channels in the equivalent of one analog TV channel.

-- But 6 MHz of AM spectrum could never be used that way, because ordinary

consumer-grade AM radios can't deliver a listenable program in the presence of

another signal of equal nominal level on the adjacent channel. With all of these

AM stations all in the same metro area, you'd need to figure at least one guard

channel between adjacent AM stations ... reducing the capacity of your 6 MHz

to no more than 300 stations, because of typical receiver quality (or lack thereof).

-- Also, of course, notice that with 300 AM stations in one market, none of them

could sell any appreciable amount of commercial time, because none of them would

have any appreciable audience, and half of them would die in the first month.

-- Finally, when you start thinking about commercial spectrum utilization, it's

important to be aware that whereas this little exercise speaks in terms of the

equivalent of one whole analog TV channel dedicated to AM broadcasting, the

entire real-world AM broadcast band is barely 1/6th of that much ...

530 KHz - 1700 KHz = 1.17 MHz !
