How do you remove the radio in a 1999 dodge Dakota?
Remove the plastic cover surrounding the stereo and air conditioning knobs/vents. Use a flat screwdriver with the tip covered with tape (not to scratch anything). Slip the screwdriver under the plastic cover and pry off, not too hard. If you wiggle around you will find the clips holding it in. Pry near the clips so you don't crack anything. Once the cover is off you should be able to see the bolts holding the radio in. Take the bolts out and pull the stereo out. Unplug the wires and the antenna. Now you have an empty space to add a new after market stereo, I recommend an Alpine.
How close can FM radio transmitters be?
Geographically close to each other ?
They can be in the same room of the same building, with their antennas on the same roof or tower.
Close to each other in carrier frequency ?
Your radio probably can't separate them if they're less than maybe 400 KHz apart.
Physically close to you ?
There's no danger to you if you're standing in the room where the transmitter is installed,
but you probably don't want to stand in front of the antenna for too long.
Driving past the station's transmitting antenna is no problem for your car radio.
Who says beef its what for dinner in a commercial ad that plays on radio and tv?
The voice for the American Beef Council commercial that says "Beef is what is for dinner" is James Garner, an Oklahoma native.
Other actors who followed James Garner in the "BEEF: It's what's for dinner!" ads are Robert Mitchum, Sam Elliott and Matthew McConaughey.
The original spokesperson was actor Claude Akins. Correction: The original voiceovers were done by actor Robert Mitchum. His voice was so connected to this campaign that the Leo Burnett ad agency decided to continue the use of his voice after his death. Claude Akins was never involved as he passed away in 1994, which was during Mitchum's heyday with this ad. The aforementioned actors of Garner, Elliot & McConaughey followed Mitchum.

Where is the fuse for the CD player in Honda accord?
The 2001 Accord has 3 fuse boxes. The interior boxes are located on the driver's and pasenger side of the dashboard. The underhood box is on the right(passenger) firewall. The fuse you want is a 20A located in the #5 position in the underhood box. There are spare fuses located in the #9 and 10 position that you can substitue. All the covers are labeled(the one you want is labeled "Stop". Use a good light source. Press the two clips to free the cover on the underhood box. Check the bulbs - a transient volatage spike(intermittent short) can blow all of them at once without blowing the fuse. Jim

How do you remove a radio from 06 explorer?
Not sure about a 2005 explorer but I know how to remove the radio in a 2005 F350. 1. at the seam on top where the dash face meets the top of the dash, grab at the seam and pul down and toward you till it pop loose. 2. The bottom. The bottom will pop loos the same way, it is just a bit tighter. Start on the right side (nearest the driver door) Be careful not to pull it out to far, you do not want to pull and wire loose. Once you have it poped loose; 3. starting on the right side start disconnecting the wire connections working your way to the drivers door, Note each connector is different, tool that will help needle nose and regular plyers, a small straight screwdriver. 4. once all wire connectors are off the dash face cover can be removed life it up and off, it is a tight fit and feels like it does not want to be remove. Make sure all wires are disconnected and you will be alright. 5. The Radio. Four screws I found its easyer to just remove them and the radio will slid forward. Once yo have it pulled out it is easy to disconnect the antena and electric connector and its out. 6. Putting the dash face plate back on. Put the bottom of the dash cover in place first, don't snap it in place just get it where it belongs. 7. Reconnect the electrical connections. starting for the right working to the left. 8. Snap the top of the dash face back into place all along the top. 9. Start on the left side near the drivers door. Looking at eye level so you can see what you need to do, pull down on the face and move it into place then snap it in place moving to the right. Notes: If is much easyer to remove the dash cover and the four radio retaining screws. It will take less time to remove them then it will to fight with them tring to wiggle the radio loose and out. It seems harder then it is, and looks like it will be a more involved then it really is. Just be patiant and with a little care you can do it. Putting it back together is easy, just revers the order, and double check all your electrical connectors - make sure they are all connected and locked in place before popping the dash cover back in place. What is the wavelength range for the FM radio band (88MHz-108MHz)?
That's the frequency band that international telecommunications meetings and the FCC
decided to allocate to FM broadcast.
As a result of that decision, all FM broadcast stations in the US have carrier frequencies in that range.
If they applied for a license to broadcast on a frequency outside of that range, it wasn't granted,
and they soon got the idea.
The manufacturers of radios, being a pretty smart bunch, realized right away that if all of the
FM broadcast stations were on frequencies in that range, then they'd be smart to build their
products with the ability to receive FM broadcast in that range.
If you play around with a receiver that can receive frequencies outside that range, you'll hear
TV channel 6 between 82-88 MHz, and aircraft navigation and communication above 110 MHz.
How do radio stations pay for songs?
All radio stations must keep logs for the FCC by law...and offer Proof of Performance if needed. All public music users (radio, tv, stadiums, restaurants, clubs, etc.) have to license with royalty collection agencies like ASCAP or BMI. Terms of their agreements vary depending on size and frequency of use.
No. The first experimental "signal" hadn't yet been detected across a Physics laboratory
at that time.
Marconi demonstrated the first practical radio signaling system in 1895.
Amateur ('ham') radio hobyists and experimenters were active in the 1900s.
By the time of the Titanic's maiden voyage in 1912, ships carried radio and were in touch
with other ships and with land-based terminals.
The first broadcasts intended for listeners in their homes took place in the early 1920s.
Will a 1994 mustang radio fit a 1995 mustang?
Depends what you mean. Mach 460 systems have been available in the Mustang since 1994. The early systems used separate Radios and CD players. Later models combined the two, and the newest models have a double sized head unit with an integral 6 CD changer. The latest units are wired different and will not swap directkly in. For your 96 Mustang, the head unit is the same as the normal Ford Radio, to make it a premium system its output was run through an amp then to the speakers. To make it a Mach system all the speakers were replaced with woofers and 4 additional tweeters were added. The tweeters are driven by a front amp like the premium system. The woofers are driven by two rear mounted amps. Two convert your system to a Mach 460 system you need the ream package tray box (coupe) which includes the Amps and rear woofers & Tweaters. You also need the woofers and tweeters for the doors. The doors are already wired for this. You move the existing speaker wires to the tweeter, and fine the unused wire and connect it to the woofers. You also need to replace the wiring harness that connect to the Amp and radio. The Mach 460 harness is similar but adds a feed that goes over the Steering column and ends below the hood release. This connects to a feed that runs to the rear woofers. All the mounting points for the wiring are there, you just need the wires. Something to note. If you add the Tweeters to the front doors you have to cut out a spot for them from the door panels, easy to do with a dremel. Later Mustangs dropped the portion of the speaker mount inside the door eliminating the need to cut the panel. You could do this as well, but would have to modify the wiring connectors. Overall an easy and very worthwile upgrade to the Mustang.
