What is the difference between infrared waves and microwaves?

Microwaves are electromagnetic waves that occur on the EMR (Electromagnetic Radiation) scale above radio/tv waves and below infrared and visible light waves. They are used in cooking devices (microwave oven) and as carrier waves for cell phone and other communication devices.

In other words, a "microwave" is a type of electromagnetic radiation (like visible light waves, tv waves and so on), and a "microwave oven" is a cooking device that uses microwaves to heat foods by stimulation of the water molecule.

What kind of music do Peru people listen to?

The music of Ecuador has a long history. Pasillo is a genre of indigenous Latin music. It is extremely popular in Ecuador, where it is the "national genre of music." Pasillo as a genre is also present in the highland regions of Colombia, and Panama and Venezuela, to a lesser extent.

Today, it has incorporated more European features of classical dance, such as a waltz. As it spread during the Gran Chaco period, pasillo also absorbed the individual characteristics of isolated villages. This gives it an eclectic feel; however, the style, tone, and tempo of the music differ in each village.

In its waltz, pasillo alters the classically European dance form to accompany guitar, mandolin, and other string instruments.

The pacific coast of Ecuador is known for the Amor Fino, a popular type of song, as well as a variety of dance music.

Pasillo, Pasacalle and Yarabi are popular folk songs. El pasillo is played with guitar and rondin, the latter being similar to a flute, and is usually downtempo; it is descended from the walz. El pasacalle is a form of dance music, while the sentimental el yarabi is probably the most popular form in Ecuador.

What items do not use electricity or radio waves to communicate?

Telephone
If you've ever talked to anyone on a cell phone, or if you've ever used a pair of toy

walkie-talkies, or a bluetooth headset, or a cordless telephone, or Wi-Fi, then

you've used radio waves for two-way communication.

If you've ever used a GPS receiver in the car, or a wireless mouse or keyboard,

or a garage door opener, or listened to music or news on the radio, or watched

anything on TV, then you've used radio waves for one-way communication.

Electricity isn't used for communication, but it's used to power all of those other devices.

What is 96.7 number?

-- On the telephone, it's really hard to tell from the information in the question.

There are 67 different radio stations all licensed to broadcast at 97.1 in different

to know its call letters, or at least the name of the city you're in when you listen

to it.

How do you remove the radio on an 1991 Eldorado radio?

I have been trying to do that a while ago as someone told me there to just take the clips off with a flat head screwdriver

however, it didnt work but underneath the wheel there are small screws that u need to remove or something, i have a feeling the answer is there.

Basically what I know is that if you manage to remove that big wood cover, you will be able to remove the radio easily and I have a feeling that the big cover is attached to the pad under the wheel.

Hope i helped

there are about 5 screws, these have the wierd star heads on them so you need the right screw driver. All the way to the left on the wood cover you'll find one in the AC vent. Just turn it so you see the screw head or remove the moving vent (turn and pull out). Two more above the dash, bring steering wheel all the way down for easier access, same size on all screws. Pull cover above radio (all across the top of the radio). where you'll find one or two more.

pull wooden cover off and you'll see the radio exposed. Underneath the radio are two nuts that you'll have to loosen but not all the way off. pull radio out.

two large connectors on the back plus the antenna wire

goes back in reverse order....

Why do people prefer to listen to radio?

Radio allows you to use your imagination more than television does. TV gives you audio and visual; radio giving you only the audio allows your mind to create the visual.

Can a analog radio scanner be modified to digital?

converting an FM receiver itself would require so much electronics you may as well buy a DAB.

The only viable alternative as I see it is a small DAB radio that instead of pumping out sound transmits FM radio signals, much like the MP3 - Radio converters for cars.

Pure have one on the market called the "Highway" and is specifically for use in UK cars. I guess its viable to use it at home too. Only problem being that you'll need one for every radio in the house.
