The engine oil and gearbox oil are the same thing, so if you want to do this, then just do a normal oil change!

You don't say which battery wire is getting hot, as a rule any wire getting hot is because of resistance and under some circumstances such as a short circuit in an un-fused line it will catch fire and/or set something else on fire.

Check for cracked insulation or wires rubbing on ground but do fix it soon.

If the wire is getting warm as opposed to HOT make sure all contacts are clean and the right gauge wire is being used.

take it to a Land Rover dealer, get them to test the instrument pack fuel gauge with their diagnostic unit (T4) if it's not that it will be the fuel pump/sender unit in the tank.

Which Range Rover are you referring to? There are many different models and where you add oil may be located in a different spot on one model then on others.

What can i say, the land rovers have pros and cons, mine is a 2000 land rover discovery and i installed a 2003 engine, transmission, transfer case, wiring harness and computer. it is still a gas guzzler but it depends what you use it for. It comes very expensive if you don't know and have to take it to the dealer and believe me, even by fixing in my own comes a little pricey because the parts ai'nt cheap.They are expensive vehicles but good working machines.

If you are going to be replacing a recirculation hood with a venting hood, there are extra steps involved in the installation, because you need ductwork that vents to the outside of your home or business.

Now that you’ve purchased the right type of hood and have gathered all of your tools, let’s get started. This article is going to focus on replacing a range hood, as opposed to installing a range hood above your stove for the first time. As always, be sure to refer to the manufacturer’s instructions or user manual that came with the new range hood.

First, turn off the power at the electrical panel, then remove the existing range hood by unscrewing all the attached points. To protect your stove while you’re installing the new range hood, you might want to cover it with the cardboard from range hood’s box.

Remove the metal electrical cover to expose the wiring. Remove the knock- out plate on the new hood that is for the electrical wires to pass through. Thread the wire-tensioner through the hole backwards, so that the range hood will fit flush against the wall.

Remove the cover plate, and affix the duct adapter to the back of the new hood (assuming the range hood has an outside duct). At this point, you will slide the wire through the tensioner, but don’t tighten it until you place the new range hood into place, as you slide the duct adapter into the exhaust duct. Now, tighten the wires and screws as you position the new range hood into place, making sure that the mounting ledge is flush with the cabinets. Finally, connect the power cable from the range hood to the power source, tighten any remaining screws, and replace the junction box cover. The final, small steps are simply to insert the filter and light bulb and their covers, and turn the power back on. Before you call it a day, test the operation of the fan, light and vent, if applicable.

In the engine compartment, above and behind the brake pump (on the right hand side of a right hand drive Range Rover)... it's located in the fuse box to the rear of the battery.

Hi, i had the same problem. There are little rubber O ring`s on the pipes that connect the matrix radiator. These leak and a fungus forms on the matrix. Look in the footwell`s for signs of leaks. It may be a small leak, so it might not show up. Hope this helps. There is normally no need to replace the matrix, just the O rings. Make sure you clean the outside of thematrix when you are replaceing the o rings as i forgot to do it and had to take it all apart again to get rid of the smell. Hope this helps Tom

press and hold the window button down pause one second after the window has stopped moving at the bottom of travel. then press and hold the window button in the up position pausing again after the window has stopped moving. then a message will come up stating window set. repeat for all windows and sunroof.

Add coolant to the overflow tank in the engine compartment near the fuse box on the right side of the vehicle near the firewall.

If you don't know what an alternator looks like, then you have no business even opening the hood. Leave mechanical things to a mechanic... especially on a Range Rover!
