What is faster Internet Verizon 3G wireless or HughesNet Satellite?

Hughesnet is horrible! The only time you get the really high speeds that they advertise is when no one else is online (such as after midnight when everyone else is asleep. My everyday download speeds on Hughesnet were under 200K for most of the day If you live in a remote area where good high speed service, such as Comcast internet, is not available.... then I would recommend you go with Verizon 3G MiFi as your service provider. You will get much faster speeds with 3G than any of the internet satellite companies. The Verizon packages are limited like the satellite packages, meaning that you can only use so much per month, but at least with Verizon you get much better service for the money. It is important to understand that any limited internet service is NOT for streaming or downloading large movie files, so services like Netflix streaming or Video on Demand would not work for limited internet access.... you would have to live in an area that provides unilimited high speed internet access for movie streaming.

If you have satellite internet can you get satellite tv?

If you can get a signal for your satellite Internet service, then without a doubt, you can also get a signal for satellite TV service AND the other way around also. The one thing you must know is that a no matter what anyone tells you, having both services will require two separate satellite dishes.

The same provider that supplies you with Internet service can't provide TV, and vice versa. For satellite Internet, you'll need to use HughesNet, WildBlue, Starband, or Skyway USA, and for satellite TV, you'll need to use DIRECTV or Dish Network. That's why you'll need two separate dishes.

How do you manage download speed with hughesnet?

There are two main factors that can slow down your HughesNet satellite Internet download speeds. The first is peak times and the second is FAP limits.

Peak times for HughesNet satellite Internet are those periods when many users are sharing the same bandwidth. Typically this begins when people arrive home from work (around 4 PM) and lasts until they all hit the sack (around 10 PM). Weekends are also consider peak time periods. Using HughesNet, or any satellite Internet provider, during peaks times is going to result in slower download speeds simply because of network bandwidth congestion at those times.

For faster downloads of big files, it's best to start them during the early morning hours. They'll usually go a lot faster.

The other issue is FAP (fair access policy) limits. If you exceed your allotted daily bandwidth limit, HughesNet will slow your download speeds to 56 Kbps (dial up speed) until the next 24 hour period begins. This is done to keep a handful of satellite Internet users from hogging all the bandwidth in a particular area and slowing down the service for everyone else in that area. If your downloads are particularly slow on any given day, you may have exceeded your daily HughesNet FAP limit.

Just FYI, HughesNet has a three-hour download period from 3 AM to 6 AM that doesn't apply towards your FAP limit. Again, it's better to do big file downloads in those early morning hours . . . you'll stay within your FAP limit and avoid the slow download speeds at peak times.

What is next hop in computer networking?

Information in large computer networks often gets sent over several "hops" - each hop is a router or server, or some equipment with similar capabilities. The "next hop" simply tells you where an information packet will be sent next - say, to which router. This router must then again decide where the information is to be sent.

What is digitization?

The term digital signal is used to refer to more than one concept. It can refer to discrete-time signals that are digitized, or to the waveform signals in a digital system.

Digital signals are digital representations of discrete-time signals, which are often derived from analog signals.

As a simple example digital signals are like number of people. we can count them as 1, 2, 3, 4,.....etc . We cannot count as 3.5 or 6.75 or ...etc. But analog signals are like their body temperature. It can be 32 or 34.7 or 36.876 etc. They changes in a infinite range. Not digitized as digital signals.

Is there any way to bypass Hughes high speed satellite Internets limited MB download per 24 hour period?

Yes, there is a way to 'bypass' the Limited amount of data that can be downloaded in any 24 hour period from HughesNet, but first some groundwork:

* The issue described in the question actually refers to the HughesNet's Fair Access Policy (FAP) which limits the amount of data that can be downloaded in any 24 hour period. This amount ranges from 250Mb to 500Mb, depending on your service plan. * This limitation does not apply to uploading content as Hughes Net offers unlimited uploading at speeds ranging from 250 KB to 500KB.

Now, here is how you get around this problem: HughesNet always unlimited downloading of content from 3am to 6am Eastern Standard Time. So, do your normal downloading/Internet browsing etc. during the daytime and schedule your heavy downloading to run during the early morning hours. Anything you download during this time does not count toward your 24 hour limits.

Can you create div in textarea in HTML?

No you can't. While you can put div tags inside textarea tags, as anything in the textarea is treated only as text, the browser will ignore the div tags and they will show as text only and so have no impact. So if you do want sections for text, you would have to look at other ways of doing it, like having several text areas with different formatting.
