The study of plants is called botany, the person who studies plants is called a botanist. Botany is a field of Life Sciences which looks at the classification and physical characteristics of plants.

A person who studies the interaction of plants and animals in an environment is called an ecologist or environmentalist.

A person who grows plants is called a horticulturist.

Nikola Tesla had one brother, Dane, or Daniel. Dane died from a horse accident when Nikola was 5. Nikola had 3 other sisters, Milka, Angelina, and Marica.

A world without Nikola Tesla would be very different from our's today. His work was absolutely brilliant. A common misconception today is that Thomas Edison developed the electrical systems we have today, but actually we use Tesla's. We use Tesla's lightbulb and his alternating current system. His motors are the same motors used in our cars today. He invented the radio and wireless communication. There are many inventions he made that aren't even credited to him, such as x-rays, neon lighting, the microwave, the electron microscope, fluorescent lightbulbs, and the speedometer. He also pioneered many cutting-edge technologies, such as robotics. Not only was he an inventor, but he also an important contributor to our understanding of physics. He discovered that the earth and humans can act as electrical conductors themselves, allowing wireless transfer of radio waves. He was one of the few people of his time to truly understand about the electromagnetic field. Tesla made many military technologies too, such as VTOL (Vertical Take Off and Landing), used by our military aircraft today. He also invented many things the general public doesn't even know about, such as the "Star Wars" Defense System, the ballistics defense system used during the Reagan Administration during the Cold War. The people of today are still using Tesla's inventions, stuff that was made in the late 19th century, to pioneer new 21st century technologies. Nikola Tesla was one of the greatest people who ever lived.

James Prescott Joule (December 24, 1818- October 11, 1889) established that the various forms of energy are basically the same and can be changed into one another. His ideas formed the basis for the first law of thermodynamics, the conservation of energy.

In Germany, Robert Koch identified one kind of microorganism in many samples of tissue taken from people with tuberculosis. Because he always found the same microorganism, Koch hypothesized that each infectious disease is caused by one specific pathogen.

The electrons have a set amount of energy, arranged into levels of increasing energy the farther they are from the nucleus. So, for example, E=1 is the first energy level where the energy of the electron is what that energy level is too.

Also, as you go out, the energy levels get closer together. So, E3 and E2 are closer together than E1 and E2.

Basically, electrons cannot have an energy lower than the first energy level. It would have to be lower for the electron to get to the nucleus. But it cannot go that low. Bohr discovered that it happened, and I think we're still looking for why it doesn't

James Joule's parents were Benjamin Joule and Alice Prescott. Benjamin Joule was a brewer and became the manager of a brewery in Salford, England. Alice Prescott was from a wealthy family in Manchester.

A person who studies matter at very low temperatures is called a cryogenicist. They work with materials and systems at extremely cold temperatures, often near absolute zero, to study their properties and behavior.
