Would you go to jail for killing a police dog in self defence?
if the dog had attacked you after a command from the controlling officer, say grabberd your arm or leg to stop you running away then yes - assaulting a police dog is the same as assaulting a police officer!
On the other hand if the dog then went wild and tried to tear you to pieces, say was trying to get at your throat then you would be able to defend yourself - but only if the dog was obviously out of control.
If a police dog just attacks you for no reason (say runs away from a plice officer at an airport and tries to savage you) then yes you could defend yourself.
How effective a 6.35mm pistol is for self defence?
Regarding self defense, the 6.35 (.25 caliber) is one of the least effective cartridges available. The average muzzle engery ratings are in the 65 foot pound range, which is actually less than some .22 shorts.
How does self defense help you in a robberies?
If you are properly trained in self-defense, you can use it to fight back against an attempted robber. Self-defense classes will teach you more than I can teach you online, but basically you'll learn different holds and ways to catch an attacker off guard. I would recommend self-defense classes to anyone!

Which would be better for self defense a Beretta 92 or M1911?
The question is not complete, as caliber - and manufacturer, as concerns the M1911 -are not considered. Added: Personally I believe that the .45 caliber is a better man stopper round than the Beretta's 9 millimeter round. In the past I have carried the Mod 92 as an issued law enforcement service weapon. It is a MASSIVE pistol. The Mod 1911 Colt (or it's imitators) is also pretty hefty. If you are carrying it (legally, I hope) for self defense, neither of them are easily concealable. Most self defense shooting takes place well within 10 yards and both of the pistols you ask about are really too large for self defense carry. I would consider a smaller, more concealable pistol in either of those two calibers.

Is security allow to carry the weapon?
There are different levels of security guards and these are governed by state laws...Some guards are allowed to carry firearms such as pistols and/or shotguns and some are only allowed to carry pepper spray and/or tazer guns.
This depends on the level of security that is needed such as the security guards for armored trucks that service ATM machines, pick up deposits, and are contracted to guard banks all need to carry firearms, where as the average security guard in a mall, shopping center, hospital, clinic or other business needs only a tazer and pepper spray

These martial arts have their place in a sports venue, but they are not very effective self-defense systems unless you are an advanced practitioner. The best self-defense systems are non-traditional eclectic systems that utilize gross motor skills. All the traditional arts rely on very well trained fine motor skills. But fine motor skills in an average person degrade more and more under high stress, fast paced, self-defense situations. Fine motor skills take years to learn. Gross motor skills are the motor skills you learned as a young child, and are optimized in high stress self-defense situations. If you want to spend years learning a traditional art, one of the better choices is Japanese (as opposed to Brazilian) Jujitsu. You spend a lot of time on the ground in Brazilian Jujitsu, and that's not wise if you find yourself facing more than one opponent.

They don't need it. Blue whales are, by far, the largest animal to have ever existed, and can get up to about 100 feet long. The only predators that even come close are great white sharks and killer whales, which are about a fifth to a quarter of that length, at most.
Is it okay to take pepper spray to school for self defense?
Answer
Simple answer: No, though at least one politician calls for a law allowing students to carry arms.
I'm not sure if you are the victim of the assult of the person who committed the assualt but .. If you have laid your hand on another person agressively or in anger of course they can do you for assault- If you are the victim and your bully 'pushed' you too far then I'm afraid you have jumped straight into their trap. You should have made a formal complaint long before things got this out of hand or left the company. If you were the bully and abused someone and laid your hand on them aggressively or in anger I'm afraid you only have yourself to blame, good luck to you and seek help.
It is surprising that the 19 year old was able to find an attorney who would take a case against a 17 year old. When you sue someone, you sue for something, and most 17 year olds don't own enough to make it worthwhile.
So unless the 19 year old is merely threatening to sue, then the 19 year old is having to pay several thousand dollars out of pocket.
That said, the 17 year old may claim self-defense, assuming it was. A lot will depend on what the police report said. However, if the 17 year old was never arrested, charged or found guilty of assault, then there is little chance that the 19 year old will be able to win in civil court.
Without a criminal conviction of the 17 year old, it would be difficult to prove that the 17 year old had attacked at all.
But all that said, if you have actually received legal papers notifying you of the suit - rather than just his word that he intends to sue - then consult with an attorney. Or I should say, have your parents do so, as you are a minor.
Remember, when you speak to an attorney, do not lie to him. They can't help you if you do.

Self-defense is a justification and a defense to use force against another person, but only to the extent necessary to protect yourself. If the court finds that the level of force exceeded that extent and resulted in the death of another, then involuntary manslaughter is a possible charge. Voluntary manslaughter would be more likely, since the action was willful, even if you didn't intend to kill.
Is the use of defense mechanisms healthy?
With a few exceptions, no. Generally speaking, there are much healthier coping mechanisms available, and the use of say, denial, displacement, or projection would be considered less than ideal (or even pathological in some cases). We all utilize defense mechanisms from time to time, but relying on them typically makes things worse, especially in the long-term because as a rule they distort reality and prevent us from effectivlely, actively dealing with a problem. Some defense mechnisms, like sublimation, could be considered healthy, though.
Must a person claiming self-defense try to retreat before resorting to force?
Yes, if at all possible, you should try to retreat before resorting to force. If you are unable to retreat then you should attempt to use only as much force as is necessary to incapacitate the attacker long enough for you to then retreat if an avenue of escape is open to you.
