What is the official name of Scotland?

After the union of the crowns of England and Scotland on the accession of James I & VI in 1603 and the subsequent union of the parliaments in 1707, for a time Scotland was 'rebranded' as North Britain, but such was the unpopularity, especially and particularly amongst Scots, that it remains Scotland.

Because Josep Broz tito died in 1980 and basically after that the whole country went into downturn until 1991 when they were officially in war until 1995 (a HORRIBLE war). This was because of religious clashes. The serbs did not like the muslims so they basically wiped them out through genocide and lots of other horrible war crimes such as rape, enslavement and work camps. this war killed 140 000 people! destroying a nation and breaking it up.
