About 20000 people die from snakebites each year

Answer:">Answer:

Though tens of thousands die from snakebites each year worldwide, there are only 5-6 deaths in the United States, and about 40% of these victims intentionally put themselves in harm's way by attempting to capture wild snakes or by carelessly handling their dangerous pet snakes. Why is there a red rash on back of my daughter's throat?

Hi it could be any number of things.... It depends on age, severity, and all around appearance. If she is having severe sore throats or swollen tonsils, it could be strep. If she has a runny nose, and she feels mucous running down the back of her throat, it could be Post Nasal Drip. Post Nasal Drip, is when your sinuses block regular passage ways to remove fluid or mucous. So it drips down the throat, if it is infected it will cause a mild to severe rash on the back of her throat. Some simple and natural ways to get rid of it is, to drink hot green tea, gargle hot salt water, use a neti pot, and drink plenty of warm fluids, make sure she doesn't drink any milk or thick fluid. If she does it makes the mucous more thick and makes it harder to swallow. If it gets worse I recommend you see her doctor, let her get a throat culture or some tests. Hope it helped.

What could cause red painful bumps around the genital area?

It may be a STD. You may want to ask your doctor or someone you don't feel weird around talking about something like that, talk to them....You should get it checked out.

But..how could it be an STD if I haven't ever down anything sexual before?

It could be a lot of things. The only real way to tell for sure is to go see your doctor. If you've never done anything sexual, then it is not an STD. People can give themselves herpes down there if they have it in their mouth (a lot of people are born with or get herpes 1 when they are kids...its very common), touch their mouth and then touch down there. But that is very unlikely. I wouldn't worry but go to your doctor just to make sure.

Why do pimples scar?

Pimples are the direct result of skin pores becoming clogged with sebum, a naturally occurring oil, and dead skin cells. In these conditions the naturally occurring bacteria Propionibacterium acnes can cause inflammation, leading to inflamed, damaged tissue in the dermis, which can hurt like any infection.

Anything that is inflammatory is going to hurt, and unfortunately acne is just such an example.

How do you cure uncontrollable itching?

You'll need to get some kind of medication from your doctor. Perhaps a cortisone medication or whatever your doctor determines would be best. The best treatment can only be determined when your doctor finds out what's causing it. If it's an allergy, it might be cured by something as simple as an antihistamine.

Talk to your doctor as soon as you can get in.

Can a tampon that is to big make you itch?

Yes, of course.

Tampons are dry and absorbent, you then insert into a moist delicate environment - they dry-out vaginal tissues causing irritation and discomfort, worse if using too high an absorbency or using rayon tampons as rayon is rougher than cotton. Rayon tampons are also treated with various chemicals that can cause irritation, vaginal infections, sensitivity or allergies.

If using tampons it's best to use hypo-allergenic cotton tampons, or consider switching to softcups or menstrual cups which are safer and more comfortable.

What kind of rash red swollen bumps with white pimple heads on them that are filled with white pus on arms and scalp?

It sounds like a bacterial rash. You could've picked it up from anywhere but it just spreads.

Firstly go to the pharmacy and get an anti-bacterial wash. It needs to be anti-bacterial, not anti-septic. You usually can get one for acne - this works well. Wash with this. The rash spreads from contact - so don't run the soap or cloth you wash with over this area as it can spread it to another part of your body. It will also spread from razor use - so if you must shave, use one razor for the infected area, and another razor for the other areas.

It will take ages to clear up. The sores should stop being pus-filled after about a week or two, but the sores will be scabby and then cause dark colouring for a while. Keep at it!

Especially men can have something such as this because of their jeans rubbing on their legs (ingrown hairs and a rash). It could be the detergent you are using as well. Women could be using something on their legs to remove hair and it's irritating or, they could also get a rash from jeans or the detergent they may be using. Rashes are even difficult for doctor's to diagnose at times, but to put your mind at rest see your doctor.

What are itchy red raised bumps on the inner thighs that seem to get worse in summer?

A diagnosis cannot be made from a description. See a doctor.

It sounds like it may be heat bumps or sweat bumps.

Can dogs have dandruff?

The puppy will scratch itself more often, just as humans do when they get dandruff. They might bite or scratch at their hair until some starts to fall out, and possibly lead to a bald spot, but other than that, there isn't much else that happens when a puppy gets dandruff. I recommend getting Puppy Dandruff Shampoo to help with the dandruff problem.

What does it mean when your right foot itches?

it means you have itchy feet

might depend on what part of your feet. usually athletes foot is on, between, or around the toes. I believe that athletes foot can also be on other parts of the feet. So, it's likely athletes foot. There are many creams for this condition. just make sure to use whatever medication that u use, for a week or 2 after the condition resolves. Don't stop using it immediately, as soon as it feels better. Also, once the condition is resolved, u might wanna make sure to thoroughly dry your feet off, after showering, and u can use baby powder to help them stay dry. The fungus that causes athletes foot, likes a wet, warm, lacking of oxygen, environment. Make sure to put your sox on before your underwear, to prevent it from spreading to your jock. It's the same fungus that causes jock itch.

What is a rash on the inside of thighs?

Sweat rash can be a cause. Use talcum powder between your thighs on hot or humid days. Obese individuals are more inclined to develop rash due to increased friction along the folds of skin. Reducing weight can alleviate rash along with several other health benefits.

Wearing proper fitting undergarments can also stop this, (for males) when your boxers or other undergarments, or even pants and shorts dont fit right the stitching of the inside crotch seam rub and also cause rash.

Jock itch can cause inner thigh rash. The rash is caused by a fungus, T rubrum, which starts at the intersection of the groin and thigh usually on both sides. The rash can advance further down the thigh if not treated properly.

The rash can appear to be scaly with redness near the fold of the groin. Away from the groin it can be reddish-brown and less or not scaly at all.

OTC Treatments:

  • Tinactin
  • Lotrimin
  • Micatin

Prevention:

  • Wear loose fitting clothing made of cotton.
  • Do not sharing clothing, towels or washcloths.
  • Dry the groin completely after showering.
  • Use antifungal powders or sprays once a day.

I found that powders, however fine, still are abrasive. If the rash is just caused by friction, balmex (for diaper rashes!)is wonderful to remove the redness and stinging. For long walks, denim seems to stay put better than lighter weight fabrics.

I found with all the solutions on the market that address rubbing, sticky and itchy discomfort on the body, (especially the upper inner thighs) Eventually will lead to chafe and rashes. Many related anti-chafe cremes, gels, lotions, sprays, etc. don't last long, Nor do they slim down those bulging areas that make contact rubbing. In addition, Support Garments are too confining and warm... but a New Product called "Thigh Sliders" does address all these issues, in a thin, light weight adhesive area shield. Whether your active, inactive, bedridden, or wheelchair constrained, (men, women and children) who are suffering, will find area support, coverage, relief and comfort... That is, until time is found to exercise, loose those inches and firm up those areas. Thigh Sliders are so soothing on the skin, you will forget they're on. They're also washable, and reusable up to 4 weeks... Read more at http://.www.thighsliders.com

Shapewear and bike shorts are ok in cooler weather but in the summer i don't like extra clothes making me hotter i found a product called secret shield at www.skindura.com that works great for me. i wear it on my inner thighs to prevent chafing.

Can not eating cause acne?

Not eating both can and cannot cause acne depending on the situation. For example, if you are very healthy and do not have any toxins in your body then not eating will not cause acne.

However, if you do have toxins in your system, when you don't eat your body can see this as an oppotunity unload the toxins that have been stored in your body tissues. This short period of acne occurring while not eating is often called a detox period.
