To replace the clutch in a Skoda Octavia, start by safely lifting the vehicle and removing the gearbox. A crankshaft sensor senses the engine revolutions to basically tells the the car when 2 inject and ignite the fuel

Pulse is Green/red trace behind the stereo. Remove trim from around Handbrake, then lift the trim around the handbrake, access then to two screws at base of radio facia. Remove glove box (pull sharply to disengage). A third screw, which goes into side of radio can then be removed. Whole facia, complete with radio and air vents can now be pulled forward to expose connector at rear of radio. Green wire with red trace gives a pulse of 4k

the flasher unit is built into the hazard light switch on dash you have to remove the small cover around switch unit & remove switch remove plug from back & replace whole unit

window heater not working

# Remove the six "star" screws around the outside. # Click out the window switch retaining fascia and unplug the window switch. # Remove the screw retaining the interior opening lever. # Carefully prise the speaker housing away from the door, horizontally. Take care, this is only held by two plastic tabs which are not very strong. Optionally unplug the speaker from its wire. # Carefully prise the outer cover from the door closing handle. This is held in place by two plastic tubes at each end that insert into the main inner part of the handle. It needs to pull out horizontally, evenly at both ends at the same time. Take care not to stress the plastic, which can lead to white marks appearing. # Undo the two large cross-head bolts securing the inner door closing handle to the door. The handle remains attached to the door lining by two small screws at each end.

# Pull the lining away from the door at the bottom, and lift the lining gently so that it unhooks along the top edge by the window glass.

I found mine on the back of the engine about mid way up. it was a pain to find, and i got a buddy to replace mine for me.

If the vehicle is petrol try checking the coil. You may find that there is an oil leak from the coil soaking the king lead to the centre of the distributor . If this is so both will need replacing.

If the engine is a more modern type where individual coils are used buy one new one and replace them one at a time to see if this helps. remember you may have to replace more than one to solve the problem.

Another thing worth checking is a fuel filter or one way valve close to the fuel tank this may be partially blocked if this is so drain and clean out the fuel tank in situ and use air line to clean filter or valve before replacing. Another thing may well be the fuel pump if the top can be removed do so carefully remove parts one at a time and using an air line blow them clean as you can get a almost invisible skin form over the parts making them less efficient. If none of this works you have to inspect the fuel system from the filler cap on the tank to the entry point in the engine block.

Then you have to repeat this procedure with the electrical parts of the ignition system starting at the battery. Try checking simple things like loose battery terminals , the earth strap from the engine block. check for loose connections corrosion etc.

Remember if diagnostics cant find the fault the problem is not serious the answer is a simple fault like a minor fuel blockage or a loose wire high tension leads should be replaced about every five years you would be amazed at what a difference this alone can make to a car getting a bit tired. When a vehicle is on a machine it is in a nice warm dry garage. when the fault occurs it on the road the whole vehicle is vibrating and driving in various weather conditions. This answer is specific to any vehicle not just skoda

The Crank sensor in my 91 LeSarre Limited is behind the Harmonic balancer pulley....there are fins on the back of the pulley that line up with the sensor.

bring it to a mechanic...job done

you need to remove inertia fan,it has large allen key type bolt at rear,also need to wedge it, to stop it turning

a bastieme, o col flessibile...

If it's the same as a Passat, it swings out from the front.
