Clayton Antitrust act (1914):
designed to strengthen the Sherman Antitrust act of 1890 by declaring illegal certain corporate practices not included in the Sherman act
* The definiton of "unfair methods of competition" was expanded to include price discrimination, interlocking directories, purchase by on company of stock in competing corporations, and contracts limiting the right of purchasers to handle the products of competing companies * Officers of corporations were made liable for illegal acts of the corporation. * The use of injunctions in labor disputes was prohibited unless necessary to prevent damage of property. * Labor unions and agricultural associations were exempted from antitrust acts, and strikes, boycotts, and peaceful picketing were deemed legal processes
One of the main reasons why the feudal system ended was because the Black Death killed so many peasants that they became rarer and more valuable - so the price for labour increased.
An example of such a question could be "How can the quality of social interactions in a small town affect the (morale, crime rate, etc.) of that community?"
If you are doing some form of sociological study, some things to ask would be:
"Do people usually greet one another?" (ex: smiling, good morning, etc)
"Do people usually use kind gestures?" (ex: opening doors for the elderly)
"How safe do you feel in your community?" (ex: do you feel safe walking alone at night)
"Are people acquainted with one another?" (ex: knowing ones neighbor well)
Also, you can take note of the types of stores in an area and how those might reflect the locals and social interactions between them.
to my mind, our live is more better than it was in the past,,everything is more developed, technologies, medicines, and so on..

People bring food as a gesture of caring because they know that when you are grieving and dealing with the funeral preparations, the last thing on your mind is the making and consumption of food. They want to make sure you don't forget to eat, so they bring something that you don't have to make for yourself.
If one is looking for a prom dress then it is worth trying Selfridges or BhS. There are also some good designers who sell through Debenhams and the dresses are new each season.

There are different types of reception halls and each may cost a different amount of money. It is a good idea to select a few reception halls and compare their rates against the facilities offered, then settle on the most appropriate for your event.
depends really on what type of party, i meen if its like a family get-to-gether party then maybe not something too outragous!lol

but if you are quite shy maybe you could still be adventures and yet not out of your comfort zone, maybe a dress, fake lashes, high heels.
you might even wanna wear ugg boots if you want to do the cute look with jeans and a crop top,
hope that helped!

Basically, strong affirmative action is openly using race or gender or disability, etc. as a determining factor in employment, acceptance, etc. Like when a college gives someone extra points towards an acceptance decision for being Latino.
Weak affirmative action is not openly using it as a determining factor, but giving social support to those who might be discriminated against. This would be a social program that provides tutors to black students, or scholarships that only females can get. This is not a legal action, but a social one.
