What is SMART hard disk?

S.M.A.R.T. stands for Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology.

It is a monitoring system built into hard drives to detect failures and hard drive health. The practical use of S.M.A.R.T. is to predict possible hard drive failure before it happens. This allows the user to save data off the hard drive before it completely fails.

What is Audio Interface?

An audio interface allows you to connect instruments and mics to your computer via firewire of USB. These usually contain the a/d converters and eliminates the need for a sound card because the processing is done within the interface itself. Interfaces come in a variety of styles and sizes depending on what exactly you need. Personally I run the MBox 2 Mini. It has two 1/4" inputs and an XLR input as well as coming with Pro Tools LE.

Interfaces eliminate the need for a mixing console because all of your mixing can then be done within your computer. Personally I like being able to move faders and things like that, but for the price, I can live with just clicking and dragging. It makes editing incredibly simple.

How are pitch and amplitude the same?

They aren't the same.

Imagine a water wave - the pitch (that is, the frequency) is the number of wave crests passing a fixed point per second. The amplitude is the height of the wave

For a sound wave, the pitch is again related to the number of wave crests per second that pass a fixed point. The amplitude in this case is a measure of pressure difference between wave maxima and minima.

How do you connect a usb sound card to a stereo for Internet radio?

The sound card takes data from the computer ... which came from the internet ...

makes sound from the data, and sends the sound back to the computer so that

you can listen to it through the computer's speakers or earphone jack.

The place you want to connect to the stereo is one of the little jacks on the computer

that's marked for either earphones or "line out".

The only problem you'll have is a minor one ... getting a cable made up with

the right kind of plugs on it, to fit the computer's output jack at one end and

the stereo's input jacks at the other end.

What is the difference between TRS and TRRS connector?

In a simple enough Answer the biggest, main idea difference between TRS and TRRS is the microphone. Usually TRRS will have a microphone and thus will have an extra ring around the bottom. Old Ipod headphones will have just the two white bands dividing the jack into three metal peices. These are TRS. iPhone headphones with the mic will have three white bands separating the jack into four metal pieces. this is TRRS

I would have the brakes checked ASAP. As to the rattle there maybe a nut that came off something and is inside something and the bump makes it move. The two may not be related.

Why doesn't after market radio work in 2001 town and country no sound coming out why?

Some cars are equipt. with a factory amp. , so your speaker wires are not connected to the actual radio speaker outputs. My suggestion is go to autozone,wal-mart,etc. and get what they call a factory wiring harness adaptor to install aftermarket radio/cd player and do not have to splice or cut car electrical wiing. Doing so can cause electrical shorts,or dash lights not to work, turn signals ,etc.
