above the stereo, there is the cover look under it and you should see a little button. push the button in and remove that cap.
you should be able to see your fuse box. then you will see 4 screws above the climate control. the 2 outer screws are for the vents which is connected to the stereo.
take those 2 screw out and use a flathead to pry along the sides of the vents and then pull it out.
your stereo should come out along w. the vents. then pop the deck from the frame and you can then change it.

The exterior sliding door handle on my 1992 Toyota Previa broke so I bought a new one from the Toyota dealer. To install the handle, I have removed the interior door panel - almost. I can't figure out how to remove the interior door handle, which is preventing removal of the panel. Does this require a special tool? Any other tips for the project would be appreciated. Thanks.

The handle is held on with a spring clip, the easiest way to remove it is to insert a thin towel or rag behind the door handle and move it around until it catches the open end of the clip and then pull it out, to reinstall it put the clip on the door handle and just push it on to the splined shaft.if

if you remove the panel already look inside where the handle its located you will have to remove hte clips that's attach to the wires then take a number 10 rachet and remove the bolts that's hold the handle to the door install the newone and reverse the prosigues ...

Well, that is how you remove the inside handle but not the outside handle. After removing the inside handle, remove the small screw in the upper part of the sliding lock, then remove the inside panel which is held on with snap connectors. There are two bolts that are accessed via holes in the inside door wall. Loosen these bolts with a socket then remove them with a magnetic Phillips screwdriver so they do not fall into the bottom of the door.
The handle is also connected to a cable which must be disconnected to remove the handle.
Replacement handles are sold at previaparts.com, eBay, and Amazon. The handle at previaparts.com costs a little more but it also includes the cable.

First loosen 10mm nut that holds positive cable at back top of the alternator, then unplug wire harness on back. Second remove the 12mm bolt at top form the back. Third remove 14mm bolt at bottom form front. When you remove these bolts you should be able to loosen and pry out with a flat screw drive.

I'm not sure if fuses are your problem as faults would be found in several fuses to cover all the items you have listed. However, the Emergency flashers, turn signal lights are covered by fuse 7 (3rd row up, 3rd from right) in the Fuse box in the middle of the top of the dash. The instrument panel lights by 6 (1 to the left of 7). Left high beam by 27 (4th up, 2nd from right). Right High beam by 28 (to the left of 27). The other is in the 'front compartment' (engine compartment?) "STOP" by 33 (middle fuse/relay).
