What type of trees would you mostly see in Lebanon?
If u go near the mountainous regions in Lebanon u mostly find cedar trees.
This really depends on how well the tree is treated. If it is well pruned, by leaves and roots (Making sure you don't completely remove all roots when repotting or just cleaning them up.) watered regularly (When the top soil is dry.) but not too much in order to prevent root rot, given reasonable amounts of fertilizer when needed (depending on the species) and clean of lethal fungi and diseases, a Bonsai could live for maybe 100- 130 years. With the care of professionals and extreme precautions it is possible for it to live up to 200 years or more.
With the average Bonsai care, I would say they live no longer than 50-70 years.

You should dig a hole twice as deep and wide as the palms pot then fill with a well draining soil mixture until the hole is half full. Then place the palm in the hole and fill with the remaining soil mixture. Also a good idea to add a 20-7-7 NPK fertilizer about six inches below soil level. Best to plant in the late spring to early summer. Good luck.

What are the pros and cons about use of barkdust in gardens?
Pros for using bark dust in gardens include adding a touch of colors, applying it over bare soil for a neater appearance, it will prevent weed growth and help the soil retain moisture. Cons to using bark dust is that it can increase the temperature of the container that it is in, plants may wilt quicker and it can encourage disease and fungal growth.
* Birch trees need a good spot, with moist cool soil but where the sun can reach its leaves all day. North and East of a house is a good position in the US. * Birch trees will grow to 40 or 50 feet, so don't plant it under power lines. Give it plenty of room. * They have a very shallow root system, just under the surface, so keep them away from driveways. * It is susceptible to insects, especially the birch leafminer and the bronze birch borer. Get advice from your local nursery about this. * Your tree will need mulching. A 4" mulch of wood chips, shredded bark and compost should be spread around the tree, without touching the trunk. A mature tree should have mulch to a radius of at least 6 feet. Mulch will help the soil retain moisture and keep it cool. * If you don't get enough rain, then you must give your birch tree a long (2-3 hours) slow watering once a week. Leave the hose on the ground and let it run slowly is a good technique. * You shouldn't need fertilizer unless the soil is poor.

Trees are often uprooted even in weak tornadoes, especially if the soil is loose. It is also common for tornadoes to snap branches and trunks. Violent tornadoes can send trees airborne ans strip that bark from others. Grass is usually less affected, but it can be flattened or even uprooted in a strong enough tornado. One EF5 tornado in Mississippi didn't just flatten grass; it stripped away up to 2 feet of topsoil at some locations.

It does not really matter when but spring is good for healing purposes. pick several branches that have interesting shape and decent foliage on the end, keep it balanced by gradually working your way up the tree from the bottom randomly selecting branches from different sides. trim all branches that dont fit your bonsai vision of what your tree should look like and remove most of the foliage from those remaining branches saving random ones on the way to the end and leaving just tufts on the ends. Step back often to be sure the tree has a balanced look to it, not too stark but not too busy. Have an idea or vision of what you want it to look like before you start, a perfect way would be to use a pane of glass and looking through it sketch with grease pens a possible design using the trees own branches as if you were tracing on top of it. Leave the glass there so you can refer to it as you progress. I have done this with olive trees ( the best ), cedars, and junipers and it is always a hit, It can give an old plant new life and a new look in your landscape. Put a little Japanese garden lamp near it for effect.
Dead trees do not go anywhere. They decompose in the spot they died.
