I cant seem to find any information on this but i had my ligation almost a year ago and my boobs feel significantly larger and I'm measured at a dd now, having always been a b or c gal. No medical evidence but i say it is possible and due most likely to hormonal changes after the procedure.

Wait a minute here, yes it can. you would have to see a fertility specialist about this. and it also depends (if you want to get pregnant) on how much tube is left afterwards. i have been reading alot over the weeks behind me and have found that it isn't cheap and that most insurance companies will not cover it. somewhere around 6500 dollars.

Tubal Ligation has nothing to do with menstruation. It is just blocking the fallopian tubes through surgery using one of several different methods.. A woman who has had her tubes tied will still have her period. The fallopian tubes are not connected to the uterus.

Chances of being pregnant are very small, but the only way to know for sure is with a pregnancy test.

i am not sure the name of the procedure, but my mothers tubes were tied after giving birth to me (they were litarly tied not cut as they do now in medicine) and she paid about $3500 and had the procedure reversed to have another child 4 years ago, now i have a beautiful little sister, so if you have the money and wish for a child that's the way to go. i do believe that it depends on how your tubes were actually tied, i am 21 so the procedure to tieing tubes has probably changed since then but its worth the try, best of luck to you

You shouldn't be able to get pregnant is correct, but that answer is only if you live in a perfect world. I know that I have had a child and a miscarriage after my tubes were tied. There is no guaranty when the tubes are tied.

After a tubal ligation the egg usually can't be fertilized since the tubes where either cut, clamped, or burnt shut. However the procedure can be reduced and normal child bearing resumes. Also however there is a slim chance for the tubal ligation to not work completely and the egg become fertilized in the fallopian tubes which is not the most ideal place, the egg can be moved to uterus but there are several risks involved in that usually result in a miscarriage.

Yes it is for the first 6 weeks I had mine done in August 2009, I paid £3,500 for all the treatment which was good, you will not be able to walk or lift anything but they give you plenty of pain killers to fall pregnant it is worth the pain

I have read about such a pregnancy in a Norwegian magazine some years ago where the mother and baby actually survived but this is considered rare. I suppose it might even depend on exactly where in the tube the egg attaches itself whether it might be successful or will not be successful.

If you are diagnosed this way then I suggest you discuss this thoroughly with a specialist in the area of pregnancies outside the uterus/womb.

Some data suggests that approximately 1 in 2000 tubal ligations may spontaneously reverse. More precisely described, sometimes the cut and closed (cauterized and or sutured) fallopian tube tissue ends aren't closed enough to stop the familiar path of a teeny, tiny, tenacious ovum or egg that follows a chemical trail to the uterin area during ovulation. If the tubes were "banded" and not cut/burnt, the bands can loosen, opening the fallopian tube. This is pretty rare, and the likelihood of this happening depends on the material used.

I had a tubal cut and burned in 2005 my son was born June 2008 and when I had my c-section they said I was still cut and burned. They still to this day cannot tell me how I got pregnant. I can tell you he is healthy and extremely smart. I had no complications and delivery was perfect! :) I hope this helps.

It is possible that you could be pregnant but this is very very very unlikely. What is more likely is that you are going through or have gone through (looking at your age) the menopause.

When this happens the ovaries stop producing eggs and the hormones that cause your periods.

If you are at all worried about your health or indeed to confirm the above you should go and see a qualified medical practitioner (a doctor), many people have other problems as they go through the menopause and the doctor may be able to reassure you and in some cases help with these.

I had a c- section 13 years ago along with that I had my tubes tied. Iam now real sexually active.I have missed my period and its now going on the second month now and Iam just wondering if iam pregant and can i carry a child to full term.
