if there is a plastic casing over the top of the engine, remove it, there should be multiple (fairly thick) black wires leading in to the top of the engine symmetrically (the wires go into the same places on the other side), pull out the wire gently, that should reveal the spark plug.

Check Rubber Inlet Hose from air filter for cracks (need to wip it off to properly check-----as for slow pulling away,if the brakes arn't binding check spark plugs..

remove hose from rad to expantion tank, at tank end, fill rad through hose connect and start up top up header tank.

Probably find its somethin to do with the injectors. I would try and clean the injectors. If you remove the fuel filter (which should be attached to the bulk head) and replace it with a new 1 but before putting the new one on buy some Diesel Injector Cleaner should be around £7 for a bottle. tip this Injector Cleaner directly into the fuel filter and screw it on to the carrier. If you have a diesel primer, manually prime the filter until it gets really hard to push/squeeze. You then know the filter is full. Start the engine and let it run for 2 to 3 mins if it cuts out prime it some more (should be soft again). Once you've done that it should tick over okay. Now you need to give you car a blast up the nearest National speed limit road there is to force the cleaner through which might smoke a little to start with but once you've done that for 5 mins or so, you should be Missfire free providing it is the injectors and if it still missfires the chances are it could be a faulty injector valve which would require a replacement of all injectors. If this is the Eco Tech Vauxhall Engine then it will either be the EGR Valve (Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve) or the Mass Air Flow Meter. It's worth disconnecting the Mass Air Flow Meter when it is reving and see if this alters the revs if not then I would suggest cleaning the EGR Valve as they get clogged up with black soot and subsequently alters the air to fuel mixture as would the Mass Air Flow!

You probably have a slight fuel leak from corroded fuel lines which is letting air into the system. After about a dozen cranks it will start when the fuel pumps through. It might be a loose fuel filter. Try priming the system by pushing the priming button on top of the fuel filter. Good luck, new fuel lines are expensive!

Could be the glow plugs. When were they last replaced? If a while ago, replace them. Also check the electrical feed to them.

New fuel filter. Clean EGR valve and clean intercooler and pipes. Add injector cleaner to fuel and also fuel enhancer additive.

its easier than it seems,first remove the windows, next on the corners there are two fancy covers with three screws in take them off, remove the plastic sheet then youll be able to see two star bolts remove them. next go in the car and remove the roof trim and light to reveal 5 v13mm nots ( you have to take them off altogether ) then when you have done that you have to remove the roof bars ( if you have them ) you only have to unbolt from the cab once you have done that lift the roof off but be carefull of the rear wash pipe and if you have done evrything it will come off. re assemble in the reverse order its ..easy.

Having consulted my vauxhall maintenance cd,the horn (H47) appears to be under the bonnet on the right hand inner wing.

Your ECU has registered a fault code. You need to get them read by a codereader to find the fault.
