I had same problem so I changed clutch, no diference. found the plate the clutch pedal conects to had pulled away from bulkhead. rewelded to bulkhead and clutch was fine.

its a cable.

only 96-98 SPORTS 1.8 Liter have hydr. clutch. (of the early models you mention)

I believe so..tahts what my dad found in my car..and we're working to fix it...because it will shift once above 4500 rpm..but only because of pressure in the transmission....causeing it to naturally shift as if you we're flooring it.

check your fuses check ignition switch

any exhaust place can make a new mid section of exhaust. u do not need factory parts for exhaust

when in SAFE mode hold down the AS button for about 5 sec turn ignition off while holding down the AS button then turn ignition back on again you should hear a bleep the safe mode will change to ---- put in your code using the 1-4 buttons then press the AS button to activated the code you will hear a bleep.

The module is situated in the arm rest where you store stuff unscrew it and you will find the module.

bleed them from the back first at the compensator then go to the near side rear to off side rear to front near side then to off side

SWB moon roof is removed by unclipping the 4 clasps.

The petrol pump will be located in the top of the fuel tank and I'm not sure if there is an access plate in the car somewhere. If it is a 3door then if you lift the seats up you might have a panel with about 4 screws in that you can use to get to it! If not then your probably gona have to drop the tank to get to it!

New head bolts must be used Stage1. 25Nm Stage2. +90 degrees Stage3. +90 degrees Stage4. +90 degrees.

sounds like similar problem i had, it was a faulty switch on the control panel. i got a new panel and fitted and now it works as new. hope this helps

I have 2001 3.2 and mine is behind the coin tray in centre console , it is clipped into the back of the tray when you pull it out.hope this helps

u need a torque rench with your injector torque settings, they are on the side of the head built in in the 2.5 tds isuzu engine

Look in your Haynes Manual for the type of oil to fill it up with (typically it is the same for the engine(in the frontera, owning one myself)). Get down and look up at the bottom side of the car. There will be a large medium gray metallic ribbed object. this is the transmission or gearbox as it is commonly known. There will be a threaded(screwed) plug on the bottom, perhaps not at the very bottom of the unit, and another plug somewhere on the side of it, perhaps halfway up. You may need a plug removing tool as it typically has a recessed square socket. Clean both plugs so that rust and dirt don't enter the gearbox. Remove the side plug first and then position a container under the bottom plug and remove the bottom plug. (By removing the side plug you willl help flow of old oil out of the gearbox by letting air in to replace it.) Oil will now pour out of the bottom hole. Remember to dispose of it correctly. Once it has stopped replace the bottom plug making sure it is secure. Take an oil syringe or pump(whatever you have) and start pumping oil back in through the side plug. Once you put too much in, the oil will pour back out the side plug. This is how you know that it is at the right level. Replace the side plug making sure it is secure. Take your car for a test run taking care to notice vibration or noise (or the lack of it as the case should hopefully be). It is good practice to check the level after a week to ensure that it is still nominal. Ensure that you refill the gearbox with the car horizontal otherwise you may refill it to the wrong level. If you don't have a haynes manual i suggest that you get one and if any of the instructions in it deviate from this answer then follow the book. And remember always work safely.

on a petrol frontera the pump is part of the sender unit and is located inside the petrol tank.

On a diesel however the fuel is sucked forward by the ddeisel pump attached to the passenger side of the engine below the alternater.

I'm not familiar with your vehicle, but MOST vehicles do not use a vacuum pump as a source for booster operation. Most use engine vacuum, which is obtained with a tap from somewhere on the air intake manifold system. If you follow the vacuum line [rubber hose and/or metal tubing] back from the booster, you will find the source. Usually, brake booster vacuum failure is the result of one of the connections of the vacuum line[s] being disconnected, cut, or dried out and cracked. If a vacuum system leak is the cause of your problem, repair is simply a matter of identifying the point[s] of leakage, and correcting. If there actually is a vacuum pump, then I have misled you, apologize, and cannot help. If this is a diesel,then you will have a vacuum pump.Usually drives off the end of the cam,couple of pipes and bolts and it's off generally. I don't know what is available from vauxhall,there may be a repair kit,you need to phone local dealer to confirm.Usually only a 3-vane rotary thing,remove the end plate and all is revealed.If no spares available then it's a choice of new unit or the scrapyard for a 2nd hand one. Answer 3 As far as I know you cannot buy a repair kit you will need a new one.

Before you can fix the idle problem on your Vauxhall Frontera, you need to find out the cause of the problem. If the problem is with the fuel pump or fuel filter, they would need to be replaced.

It could be a number of issues ..... blocked matrix (behind dash) An airlock in the water system, A leaky head gasket, A seized thermostat

open bleed valve on top of distribution pump, crank engine till fuel squirts from valve, tighten valve, turn over couple times. Add heat and fire up.

On a left hand drive vehicles, it is on the front right side behind the right headlight
