I have been in the Well/Pump business for over 40 years. I have never seen a shallow well jet pump that was over 1.5hp. They make a few deep well jets that are two horse and lots of centrifugals, but not the jets in 2hp.
If you were to find one, it would probably be sold in a big box store and would be highly overrated.

You just need to adjust the pressure switch on the pump to your desired pressure...typically around 50 psi. Sometimes the springs in the pressure switch get old, and just need tightening.

I worked for various paint companys, approx. 8 yrs experience. Need to know if u have installed hard wood ( cedar, mahogany, or even 4 x 8 standard wood. Soft wood, pine, fur, etc. You can use a clear exterior polyurethane. Flecto Varathane was the manufacture. Marine Spar Varnish (exterior) can be used. I've had to do this occasionally and the only practical way is to dig up the pipe at house where it goes to the well then follow the direction, digging every 8-10 feet to find it. There is machinery to follow water pipes underground, but I don't think you can rent them.
Hammering pipes is the result of inertia when moving water causes the pipes to move when a valve is suddenly turned off. Use an anti-hammer device. You can purchase one at most home centers.

OK,I assume that your pump needs to be removed from the well and the pump and water line is full of water and heavy.I had the same problem and sorry to say there is no easy way.What you need to do is get a good grip on the water line leading into the well.You may have a nylon rope attached to the pump itself,dont pull on this it may break.Get a few of your stronger friends to pull up on the water line,pull together it will be heavy,until the pump is above the water level in the well.This will allow the water in the pump and the water line to drain out.Then it should come out with little effort.
