Why do you mount 2 new tires in the back instead of the front?
I have always wondered that and can see no logical reason. I almost always put new tires on front so I have better steering. Unlike many people, I also keep a very close eye on my alignment and have it checked and adjusted at least every 2 years.

Will 22 inch rims fit on a 2002 Chevy Impala?
Yes, but you will have to have special very low profile tires put on the rims or they won't fit into the fender wells. Also , ask your garage to check things like the clearance of the shocks/struts etc BEFORE you spend a lot of money on these tires/rims. Most tire shops should have charts to tell them exactly what the biggest rim/tire combo will fit a certain vehicle. Chuck

How do you calibrate a FMC 4100 wheel balancer?
1. Press F1 and SPIN 2. The display will read "CAL Slu". Attach the round calibration weight (stored on the back of the machine near the power switch) in the threaded hole on the outer edge of the balance shaft flange. 3. Press SPIN again or lower the Wheel Guard to initate the balancer spin cycle. The shaft will turn for about 15 seconds. 4. The display will then change to "CAL 0". Remove the calibration weight and Press SPIN or lower the wheel guard to perform the second step of calibration. 5. After another 15 seconds of spin the display will read "CAL Good" to indicate a good calibration. The operators with this information can be download from: http://www.snaponequipment.com/common/op-manuals/jb/past-products/4100_om.pdf Also, make sure the device is on a very stable surface like concreate. Wood floors will allow the machine to move during balance and can produce a tire that is out of balance even if the machine says the balance is good.
Can a 20x8-8 turf saver tire fit the same rim as an 18x8.5-8 turf tire?
Yes, but with the additional height you will need to:
1) Make sure you have the clearance for the extra 2"
tire diameter if their is a fender over the tire.
2) If using on a riding mower you will have to adjust the
deck because the deck may tilt forward a bit so it doesn't
scalp the grass or cut uneven.
Can you put 15 inch tires and rims on a vehicle that had 16 inch tires and rims?
Maybe, that would depend on the vehicle and if the rim would clear the brakes.

Why does your car make a loud sound when it goes over a bumpy road on the right back tire?
well you can try taking the tire off yourself if you want to and try inspecting it myself. i just looked on my car and had a very similar problem. first you have to no i have a rear wheel drive sports car so this could be unrelated to what your problem is but it never hurts to check it out. there is a trapazoid looking piece of rubber over the axle. mine fell off and i need to get it replaced and because it feel off the shocks take most the impact but over big bumps the rame hits on the axles. check and see if you have something similar on your car or just check the spring back there and see if its maybe cracked? i hope this helps you

What is the cost of wheel balancing?
It depends, if you want weights that go directly on wheel lip or the sticky ones. But generally speaking, it costs about 8-12 dollars per tire. This also depends on whether you go to a small business or a place like just tires, where prices can range between 10-15 dollars. Always remember, balancing is so your steering wheel does not shake on the express way. If you. Wish to save money, it is more important to balance the front tires. Back tires don't need balancing.
What would cause your steering wheel to rotate 360 degrees and the tires not move?
