What was the reaction from the other countries toward Axis expansion?

It was condemned by the League of Nations and most of its constituent nations objected, but lacking an enforcement arm or capacity to force conflicting nations to mediate, no proclomation of condemnation achieved anything.

What countries made up the axis powers during Georgia?

Do you mean 'during World War 2'? The 1938 alliance between Germany and Italy was described as the Rome-Berlin Axis. After 1941, when the Axis Powers were fighting the same group of countries as Japan was, Tokyo was treated as another Axis Power, even though the metaphor limped (think of an axle with three wheels going off in three directions, if you can imagine it).

Is there anything left on Normandy beach i.e metals like guns.?

The beaches at Normandy do still have remnants of the war, including everything from live ammunition to parachute buckles. Metal detecting on the beaches is not allowed.

How can you get more power out of your 1989 Chevy Caprice with the 305 tbi?

Depends on how much money you want to spend. Aside from opening the engine up and doing a complete re-bore, with new heads, no one thing will increase power very much. Each thing you do adds to the equation. Dual exhaust will help, but not much. Free flow air filter will help but only at high rpms. This engine has too little power for this size car. The 350 would be a better choice. Go to www.summitracing.com for some ideas.

What countries were conquered that gave the axis powers more control in world war 2?

In many ways, the most major boons to Axis power in WWII happened very early on - even before the commencement of the actual war following the invasion of Poland.

Through heavy-handed diplomacy and manipulation of Allied fears of a second war in Europe so soon after the devastation of WWI, Hitler secured the Rhineland, Austria, and the Czech republic under German control. These measures, combined with the signing of the non-aggression pact with the Soviet Union, and the subsequent partition of Poland, secured the Eastern front of the Reich, and freed hundreds of thousands of troops who would otherwise be guarding those borders, for use elsewhere as Hitler saw fit.

When Germany invaded France the next summer, all of those divisions were able to participate in the Battle for France, effectively overrunning and defeating the French and British Expeditionary Force in a matter of weeks.

What are some non examples of axis powers?

theres isnt a non example for this word in my opinion

How did the d day invasion contribute to the Allies victory in ww2?

It created the nightmare the German High Command always feared! Having to fight on 3 fronts, if you include the Italian front. The success at Normany, would forever during the rest of the war, pin down precious German manpower and tanks, at a time when the Soviet were getting stronger and destroying more German divisions then could ever been replaced. The Germans after D-Day, had to transfer valuable formations from Itay to meet the Allied threat in Southern France that summer of 1944. One of the great mysteries of the war, was why the Germans didn't take their forces out of Norway(there were 330,000), and shore up their defense either in the east or in France. They stayed in Norway till the end of the war. Hitler was alone in thinking that the British would invade Norway, which they never did.

What was the Tripartite Pact?

The Tripartitite Pact was a treaty signed in Berlin, Germany on September 27th, 1940. It was signed by Imperial Japan, Nazi Germany, and Fascist Italy, forming the Axis Powers of World War II. These powers were opposed by the Allied Powers, including the United States, China and Great Britiain.
