Asian American subculture peaked in the early 2000's late 90's. i remember when asians stuck together by common bonds such as japanese cars, trance music, ddr and so on. we loved eachother like brothers and sisters. if you were asian you were my brother. we were proud. there was much love. and we were a smaller culure within america.

The establishment of Byzantium (Constantinople, now Istanbul) as the second city of the Roman Empire made it very European. The capture of the city by the Ottoman Empire (Asian Arabs) brought it back into Asia.

The overthrow of greek invaders in the early 20th Century by the followers of Kemal Attaturk allowed Turkey to develop as an emerging democracy and has since, becoming increasingly allied to Europe.

In general broad strokes, there is Shintoism in Japan, Buddhism (in various forms but mostly Mahayana and Zen) across East Asia, Juche in North Korea, Christianity (primarily Protestantism, but also some Catholics) in South Korea and Japan, along with Daoism and Confucianism in China.
