Soluble means able to be dissolved or able to be solved.
For example, the soluble mystery questioned whether salt was soluble in water.
Or, fat is soluble in oil but not in water, since polar solvents dissolve polar solutes while nonpolar solvents dissolve nonpolar solutes, but not vice-versa.
I flow heavy when I'm on my cycle. Is there anything that will slow it down?

Which protein is the most-abundant in the bone?
Collagen is the most abundant protein found in bone. It provides strength and structure to the bone tissue.
Vitamin K–dependent plasma protein that inhibits blood clotting by serving as a cofactor for activated protein C. Not to be confused with S p. A protein is a chain molecule made up of amino acids made by living things.
What is the amount of BTUS the human body has at rest?
1 met = 1kcal/kg/hr 1kcal = 3.97 btu At rest, the human body expends about 0.8 met. So, a 70 kg person at rest generates 0.8 * (3.97 btu * 70 kg) every hour. That would be about 222 btu/hr, which is not a measure of watts, so.... Since 1 btu/hr = 0.293 watts, that same person generates 65.14 watts at rest.
What can cause red blood cells to be large?
Most people that have enlarged red blood cells do not know they have the condition until it shows up on blood work. Conditions that can cause enlarged red blood cells include a vitamin B-12 deficiency, folate deficiency, liver disease, alcoholism, and side effects from certain medications.
Is Bilirubin being at 1.7mg in human blood fatal or serious?
it's not fatal or serious although an adult should not have more than about a o.5 level(total) this is not a life threatening thing, have you have any liver studies done or a direct bilirubin level done? Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
Calculated red blood cell recovery after donating a double red blood cell product?
Per the blood bank you have to wait 16 weeks, or double the normal time for a single red blood cell donation.
Normal wait time for red cell donation is only once every 8 weeks and since this procedure draws what amounts to two donations in one, your wait time is double.
Acute bleeds are white on CT. Acute blood blocks x-rays and appears white (in the same way bone does but not as bright).
Chronic old blood has low x-ray attenuation and appear as dark/dark gray in CT images because the cells are eventually reabsorbed and scar tissue and swelling takes the place forming a dark hypodense area on scans.
However, when contrast media (dye) is injected to the blood vessels, blood will appear white due to the iodine content in the dye. Iodine has high z-number (atomic number) which can attenuate x-rays.
When were the 1 cents and 2 cents were removed from circulation?
More information is needed. What country? Please post a new question with that info. Thanks!
when were the one cents and two cents removed from circulation in New Zealand
What is the treatment for low red blood count anemia low platelets and fever in dogs?
The treatment for low red blood count anemia, low platelets, and fever in dogs may involve addressing the underlying cause, such as infection or immune-mediated disease, with medications like antibiotics, immune-suppressants, or supportive care like blood transfusions. It is essential to consult a veterinarian for a proper diagnosis and tailored treatment plan for your dog's specific condition.
Cancer is caused by abnormal cell division and proliferation due to genetic mutations, leading to the formation of a tumor that can spread to other tissues in the body.
What part of the blood destroys dead and damaged cells?
White blood cells, specifically phagocytes, are responsible for destroying dead and damaged cells in the blood. Phagocytes engulf and digest these cells to clean up and maintain the health of the blood.
What is the a linear metabolic pathway?
Linear pathways have no major interjections. This means that they are e.g. glyccolysis. However cyclic pathways tend to use the last product they create to rebegin the cycle. They make products but recycle the same key components e.g. the Krebs cycle.
What types of microbes do adaptive immune responses combat?
The adaptive immune system was developed in higher vertebrates to combat pathogens and antigens. These can include viruses, bacteria, and anything else that can cause the immune system to launch an immune response.
How many atoms are there in the average human body?
According to Jefferson Lab, an average 70 Kg person, that's about 150 lbs, will have approximately 7*10 to the 27th atoms in their body. That's 7 followed by 27 zeros (7,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000).
The number of stars in the Universe, which is estimated at 10*10 to the 21, or 10 followed by 21 zeros. (10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000).
So you can see that there are way more atoms in your body than there are stars in the universe.
What is the only part of the human body which has no blood supply?
All organs require a constant blood supply. Organs like your skin can last long periods with reduced blood volume but your heart, lungs and brain can't tolerate any significant loss with damage occurring.
The above answer is correct for whole organs, but I'm guessing the answer the question is fishing for is the cornea. The cornea is considered an organ in terms of organ donation , although the whole eye would more accurately be considered the organ. The cornea is the outermost part of the eye and it does not have a blood supply, oxygen etc. just diffuses in and out of it which has the practical application of making it easier to transplant.
The hair (after it leaves the hair follicle) and nails also do not get blood.
What is the function of a lymphocyte cell?
To fight off infections creating antibodies which are microscopic proteins which are shaped specially to fit one pathogen
Example ...
There is a different antibody for the flu and a different one a cold (however there would be many for the common cold as it mutates very quickly -Look up mutation) .
There are many types of lymphocytes
How does pH affect the absorption spectrum?
How does the air temperature affect the absorption spectrum? Well, it is believed that in the cold or cool climates, the spectrum will get cold, therefor the water is cold. If it gets cold enough, the spectrum could and might freeze. If a plant is in a very warm or hot climate, and it gets too warm, the spectrum could get 'overwhelmed' with how much nutrients and water it has to absorb to stay alive, and it might just shrivel up, meaning, the plant could shrivel up. If you store a plant in a mild climate, it should be just fine, as long as you give it enough good soil and water.
What are the differences between serum and plasma?
Serum is the liquid portion of blood that remains after clotting has occurred, while plasma is the liquid portion of blood that is collected when the blood is anticoagulated. Plasma contains clotting factors, while serum does not. Plasma is used for tests that require clotting factors, while serum is used for tests that do not require clotting factors.
What are the common causes for a 93 Lincoln mark viii to lurch at low rpms?
I just read about this at http://consumerguideauto.howstuffworks.com/1993-to-1998-lincoln-mark-viii-6.htm
2 issues:
Automatic transmission: Transmission shudder or vibration under light acceleration or when shifting between third and fourth gear above 35 mph can be fixed by replacing the transmission fluid with Mercon 5 fluid. (1992-94) Be sure to drain the torque converter or you leave huge amount of old fluid in the system. The round, black plastic plug in the bell housing, just in front of the tranny oil pan, is the access to the plug. Rotate the engine with a wrench on the crankshaft to get the plug to the bottom.
Also, replace the 1-2 accumulator piston and springs. The original piston suffers from poor design and the springs are likely broken. You can do this easily as it is accessible once you remove the tranny oil pan when changing the oil.
Automatic transmission: The transmission may slip and the engine may flare when the transmission shifts into fourth gear, which can often be traced to a bad TR/MLP sensor. (1993-95)
What structure is an adaptation that helps certain bacteria ward off white blood cells?
The capsule is a structure that can help certain bacteria evade detection and phagocytosis by white blood cells. This outer layer can prevent the immune system from effectively recognizing and eliminating the bacteria.
== == == == The following answer is provided by someone who does not have bipolar. People with bipolar are people and they're all different. Some do fine without meds.
from below .. "If she suddenly becomes super happy one moment and then flies into rages or becomes extremely depressed" sorry, it doesn't work like that. --
If this woman is not seeking therapy or on medication I am sorry to say that you are in for the ride of your life if she doesn't follow doctor's orders. SHE MUST take her medications according to doctor's instructions and if she does she should just be fine and the only problems you both should have are normal ones. If she persists on not taking medications or playing around with her dosage without seeing her doctor then don't be afraid to talk to her and tell her to smarten-up. 75% of people that are on some type of medication don't listen to their doctor and don't work with their doctor to adjust dosages and they will often quit the medication (some medications shouldn't be dramatically stopped) or adjust the dosage themselves as they see fit. Go into this relationship with eyes wide open and if you are committed to her then realize you need to communicate well. If she suddenly becomes super happy one moment and then flies into rages or becomes extremely depressed you know something is up and she is either not taking her medications or the dose needs to be adjusted. DON'T BE AFRAID to suggest this to her! If she isn't willing to work with her doctor or look after herself then you are going to have make a decision as to whether you want to stay in a relationship with her. People who suffer from brain chemistry disorders are not abnormal people and with some understand re bi-polar there is no reason you couldn't have a good relationship together. Some people feel being on especially a medication for a condition of the brain such as depression (includes bi-polar) etc., is a weakness and it is no different than having diabetes or some other illness. Not so long ago (and even today it can happen) people often will look their nose down at a person with a mental condition. It's sad because the person looking their nose down at the person is ignorant and knows little about this mental condition and it hurts the person that has it. Thus, they feel different and don't always feel they are like anyone else. If all of us were honest in ourselves we each have a flaw in our personality that could possibly need correcting by a therapist or even in some cases medications. There are many people walking around in society that don't even know they are depressed. Although I didn't suffer from bi-polar (can be genetic) I did suffer from panic attacks and Agoraphobia years ago. I had gone through a bad divorce, was working hard, remarried a few years later to a wonderful man and then my father suffered a debilitating stroke. I basically burned the candle at both ends. At this time when I got the panic attacks little was known about it and I had to leave my job (couldn't cope.) The company I worked for was wonderful and gave me full pay for the whole year, but I had to be fair about it and I gave up my job. It devastated me. To make a long story short, I did eventually find a doctor that knew all about panic attacks, was put on an antidepressant and I've been fine ever since. I no longer have to be on antidepressants because while I was on them I also took counseling and learned "Cognitive Therapy" techniques as tool to deal with stress. I now eat well, exercise and fill my head with more up-lifting things and so when the rotten things in life hit me between the eyes I can handle it and I'm a much stronger person today than I was before. For those that couldn't understand my illness I knew within myself I was a good person, strong in spirit, prayed every night and I can tell you honestly that I didn't get well alone, but faith in God got me through it. I do believe in miracles! I was lucky to have support from family and friends and one wonderful husband, but I too worked hard to get better. I feel I have much more empathy towards people and can understand their problems and have more patience when they aren't always kind to me. I think you should give this relationship a shot. Talk to her about it. Go on the computer and ask about bi-polar because I believe when you learn about something then it's not such a mystery and so frightening. Good luck
How do you improve urine PH of 5.0 and spec gravity of 1.025?
