The Sri Lanka flag was officially adopted on December 17, 1978.

Most likely it is a flag that was in use from 1907 to 1911. The 46th star was added to the US flag when Oklahoma became a state. In 1911 and 1912 Arizona and New Mexico became states and the 47th and 48th stars were added. The US flag stayed at 48 stars until Alaska and Hawaii were admitted to the union becomming the 49th and 50th star on the flag

No, not exactly. The Scottish flag is a blue background with a white diagonal cross. It is part of the Union flag for Britain. The other two parts are made up from the Northern Ireland flag and the English flag. The Welsh flag for some reason has no place.
