Although Hezbollah's conduct was surprising, it suffered a serious setback. Most of its long-range Iranian-supplied missiles were destroyed in the first few hours, forcing it to rely primarily on Katyusha rockets. It's also important to know that Israeli air and naval strikes and speacial operations destroyed numerous Hezbollah bases, arms and munitions dumps, and rockets.
