There are many towns with coal mines in it. These communities typically had one or more coal mining companies as their principal employer. During the first half of the 20th century, many towns were built from scratch by the mine operators to house their labor force. Homes were rented to the miners and many companies even provided a company owned store for the miner's families to purchase their home supplies and tools for the miners, often at inflated prices.

Many miners were paid whole or partially in script which was only redeemable at the company store. This practice led to a great deal of dissatisfaction by the miners, as they were economically locked to the company as a whole. Today, coal miners are regular salaried or hourly employees that are paid no different than any other employee in America. Company stores quickly went out of business once the miners had real currency to shop at any store they pleased.

While many mining communities became ghost towns when the mines eventually closed, many still exist as companies often sold their homes to the miners as the particular mining operation dissolved. Residents are often still strongly associated with coal mining and commute to other mines as anyone else may commute to work. Example of some of the smaller mine communities could include Powellton, Matewan and Nuttalburgh (ghost town).

Larger mining towns also formed to become regional economic centers. While the mining based economy served as their base, the are also diversified into banking, medical, professional services and other economic activities. Their general economic well being is still closely linked to mining and their overall economic well being rose or fell as per larger economic forces that drive the mining industry. Many are county seats. Example communities include Beckley, Oak Hill, Logan, Bluefield and Welch.

Data mining refers to the study of data (usually by software without human intervention) that is generated by user behavious on the internet. For example, a visit to amazon.com and a look at books on anthropology will probably trigger amazon's software to flag one as someone interested in anthropolgy. This data is then used across the user's net experience on sites like Facebook, Game sites, etc., to show the user ads related to resources on anthropology. This is done through the use of "cookies" that are placed on the user's computer that can then be read by sites that partner with the cookie-placing site to show relevant ads.

While data mining is the first step in collecting user data, showing ads related to what the user was browsing can be redundant. Going by the previous example, if a user has already bought a book on basic anthropology, it makes little sense to show ads for the very same book. Predictive modeling goes a step or two further. Given that the user has already bought a book on basic anthropology, predictive modeling seeks to predict what the user will most likely need next and then to show ads for those products or services.

Predictive modeling uses much more of the data mined, such as the user's age, gender, known experience in the field, other related interests, etc., to build a model to predict future needs and to thus show ads tailored to those needs.

You require a specific land grant issued by the government of Mexico. There should be no problem, as most mining operations in Mexico are carried by Canadian, English as well as some American companies.

They don't often understand the dangers and don't know to stay away from areas that have been mined. Left over mines are often left were they were placed in fields that become areas that children take animals to graze in or where they play.

Since there's not much room for the question, I'm assuming you have one of two issues: 1. You can't imagine that you do anything wrong, so it's tough to be critical of yourself (or you don't want to admit to anything, anyway.) OR 2. You feel like a failure and can't think of much that is positive to say.
