How can you conserve air pollution?

We haven't air pollution in our area. The air is absolutely clear, the sky is very blue, clouds are very white, We don't need to breathe because the O2 enters our lungs easily. We haven't any smoke in the air. Stars shine wonderfully at night.

However, if your region has a polluted atmosphere, take my advice, move to a farm and start writing blogs about pollution all the time. Send a letter to Obama, asking him to make a law forcing the industries to install filters where is necessary, and ask him to sign the Kyoto Agreement.

How PTC technology is used in pollution prevention?

PTC technology is also used in pollution prevention, pollution treatment and the removal or destruction of impurities in waste and product streams. PTC provides many compelling benefits, primarily related to reducing the cost of manufacture of organic chemicals and pollution prevention. Cost reduction and pollution prevention are the two most powerful driving forces in the chemical industry today, and they match precisely the strengths and benefits provided by Phase-Transfer Catalysis.

Is denatonium benzoate toxic or does it cause nausea?

This is an extremely bitter substance, its used in other solutions to prevent accidental over ingestion of more dangerous chemicals, as extremely low parts per million are easily discerned by the human palate. According to Aldrich, The handbook of Fine Chemicals, Risks include: 1. Harmful if swallowed. 2. Irritating to eyes, respiratory system and skin. Safety precautions include: 1. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water andseek medical advice. 2. Wear suitable protective clothing

What is effluent?

Effluent is the liquid discharged from any source. Effluents can originate from municipalities, industries, farms, ships, parking lots and campgrounds. There is a connotation that effluent contains contaminants but in the strictest sense it could be pure water.

The actual components in the waste may include ammonia, fecal bacteria, pH, salts etc.

What are 3 living pollution indicators?

The aim of the second phase of the Pollution Atmosphérique et Affections Respiratoires Chroniques (PAARC) study, started in 1974, was to compare the long-term mortality between populations living in areas with different air pollution levels. In Bordeaux (France), four different areas were concerned by the study. The black smoke measures were realized between 1974 and 1981. After 1981, the stations set specifically for the study were not used any more. The purpose of this study was to estimate the evolution of air pollution in those areas between 1982 and 1997 using the measures of 12 Association de Prévention de la Pollution Atmosphérique (APPA) stations located in Bordeaux city but not in the PAARC areas. The method used was divided in three phases: a correlation study between the stations of the different networks, a selection of the pertinent stations and the setting up of indicators using the arithmetic means method. Monthly means concentrations were estimated from January 1982 to December 1997. Models showed a decrease in black smoke levels whatever the area. The difference in level from one area to another, existing between the areas in 1974, was still with predicted values in 1997, but less important. Black smoke mean concentration for 1982-1997 was, respectively, 16.4 and 16.2 microg/m3, in areas 1 and 2. It was a little bit higher in area 3 with 18.9 microg/m3. Area 4 still has the highest level with 26.3 microg/m3. To conclude, this method enabled to assess different air pollution levels at different times in the four areas of the PAARC study in Bordeaux. Those levels could be used to study the impact of the air pollution on long-term mortality on populations living in the areas considered.

SLOGAN FOR CONSERVATION OF HILLS AND FORESTS Yes, I had seen a hoarding having this slogan/code at Nilgiris Range of hills saying that: "LEAVE NOTHING BUT FOOTPRINTS

TAKE NOTHING BUT MEMORIES" I was very much impressed by this couplet because it tells the tourists not to leave any wastes or any material which is foreign to the forest environment and not to take anything belongs to the forest because for the sustainability of environment. Sorry, I don't know who said this but hats off to the creator of this slogan/code !
