How do you treat the lupus rash?

Stay out of the sun and the rash you get from being out in the sun will go away. There is no way to treat the butterfly rash on your face as it means you are having a flare. The best way to deal with it is to cover it with makeup and see your doctor for treatment to get you out of your flare.

What could be wrong if you were told you were developing a dowagers hump but tested negative for osteoporosis but now your back just below your neck is so sore and painful that you can't lie on it?

Hmmm... That's a very complicated question!! If you're seeing a Rheumatologist, I'm sure he/she has checked you for cushing's disease or referred you to an Endocrinologist If you've NOT seen an Endocrinologist, then I strongly suggest you get a referral to see one. Since you report the osteoporosis test was negative, then I personally would refer you to one if you had some of the following: Cushing's disease (ie an ACTH-secreting adenoma) Presenting symptoms * psychiatric disturbance (often characterised by amplification of previous personality traits) * moon face - particularly filling in of the temporal fossa [temple areas] * weight gain - central obesity [primarily body area] * muscle wasting and proximal myopathy (patients have difficulty standing from a seated position without use of arms) [weakness] * thin skin * - tendency to bruise * hirsutism (caused by androgen excess) [male hormones] See [The Pituitary Foundation.org.uk] at http://www.pituitary.org.uk/gp-factfile/4-cushings.htm

Can lubricants give girls a rash?

That's possible. It depends what lubricant you are using where. If i assume you're tlaking about sexual lubricants, most specifically designed lubes will be safe to use and are unlikely to cause a rash. But if you're getting a rash from using one, stop using it immediately.

You then have two options. You could try an alternative lube, or you could speak to your doctor/medical practitioner about it. There's no harm or embarassment about this, it's perfectly natural.

One thing i would always do (in case you're not) is to use brand-name lubes that are simple and easy to start with. you can always progress to other things when you know what works and what doesn't for you, everybody is different.

I have tried many brands of pads but all cause a rash. What could be the reason?

Sanitary pads need to be of good quality and have good absorption capability else they will cause side effects. Also, you need to maintain good feminine hygiene during periods else it will cause some kind of infection or rash.

Can you get a rash from a butterfly bush?

I was pruning our Butterfly Bushes wearing cutoff shorts, t-shirt and a pair of work boots with no socks. I did not tie up my laces. I felt a piece of the bush fall between my ankle and my boot. The next thing I felt was a burning pain on my ankle. I took my boot off and saw a rash that spread about one inch across my ankle. it took almost two weeks for it to heal and it still itches today three weeks later.

How do you get rid of ingrown hair bumps that wont go away ive tried everything?

Ok, this is kind of a lengthy answer but I promise it'll help.

Don'tuse disposable blades more than once or twice. Soak in alcohol for 230 minutes before use.

Don't attempt to use those twin or triple blade "closer-shaving" razors. The first blade stretches the skin; the second (and third) shaves too close, cutting hair off below the skin line. When the skin bounces back, those hairs are set up to be trapped repeatedly under the skin every time you shave that way.

Don't tweeze those ingrowns! It is not permanent hair removal. When tweezed hairs grow back (in two to three weeks), they are trapped under the skin line. Those areas become "hot spots" of chronic ingrowns, so resist the urge to "post up" in that mirror to tweeze or pick. Unhook them and snip only.

Don'tuse a Norelco rotary shaver. Circular blade motion cuts the hair in every imaginable direction. Count on trouble if you're even slightly bump-prone.

Don't shave upward, against the grain, or shave back and forth over the same place repeatedly in an attempt to get a closer shave. There is a built-in trade-off; less close=100% clearer.

Don't use anything except PFB Bump Fighter or Bic Disposable for Sensitive Skin with our Acne Wash as directed, or a sanitized non-rotary electric shaver, T-edger or clippers.

Don'tforget to soak those disposable blades in alcohol for 20 minutes before shaving, or spray with Clippercide as directed.

Don'tattempt to take a blade to your face for the first time until your prescribed night medication can be tolerated comfortably overnight and you have our "go ahead".

Don't forget to spray disinfectant on razors, clipper and/or T-edger blades, guards and attachments before and after shaving. Clippercide is available at beauty supply stores. Don't forget to take some with you to the barbershop. Do watch for barbershop sanitation (or lack of it).

Don'ttry to use the same clipper and T-edger blades for the rest of your life. Change those blades every six months.

Don'tshare your clippers and T-edgers ever.

Don't scrub too hard or rub your face with a terry cloth towel. If your skin is not irritated, scrub very gently (with prescribed product only) for no more than 30 seconds. Blot your face dry (no rubbing) with a soft towel or Kleenex Viva paper towels. Attention athletes: Don't wipe off sweat; blot dry instead!

What causes the sudden onset of an itchy burning rash on spine wrists stomach?

If maybe you bought a new shirt and wore it before washing it first, it could be dermatitis, which is inflammation of the skin caused by a reaction in detergents or fabrics. Only thing to do is let it take its course and it'll go away in a few days. If it's not brought about by new clothing, you should probably see a doctor. Oh, and Vitamin C works well for itching.
