The factors that facilitate listening are receiving, attending, and understanding. Receiving is to make sure you are listening and paying attention. Attending means giving one thing your entire attention not multitasking. Understanding means make sure you understand if not ask questions to make it clear.

It really can be most anything you want it to be, however, I an a firm believer that a minor should compliment, supplement, and/or enhance your primary program of study, and should help lead to your overall career goals and objectives in a more beneficial way.

Well, for your first term take the following classes (or equivalent depending on the community college you attend): pos110, eng105 (or an acceptable math class), two liberal studies (ls) classes, and some general elective class (ge).

The second term take: pos120, the eng105 is a year long course so it will carry over, also the two ls classes, and then another general elective class. Now onto your second year at the community college.

For the third term take: some pos elective (i would consult a counselor on a specific class), two ls classes again, then some minor course, and another general elective.

Then for your fourth term everything is basically the same as the third except take pos201.

After this it's onto a four year university to get your bs in pos (after a couple more years of course).

It depends on the specific program of study (major). Each will have course requirements particular to each. For example, a program in communications will be quite different than a program in engineering.

An MAM is a Master of Arts in Management. This is considered a business degree and of equal standing as an MBA. With an MBA a person selects an area of concentration such as marketing, accounting, health care administration (or any number of others). A bachelor's degree in most areas can require between 124 to 128 college credits particular to a specific program of study. When you matriculate, you are no longer paying for classes by the credit. So, it is cost-effective to take as many classes as you can reasonably handle, up to the limit your school allows. The bean counters at colleges are no dummies, so they put a cap on the number of credits students can take each semester, because they don't want to encourage too many kids to graduate in less than four years. Frankly, there's not much difference between earning the second major and earning a minor, so you should load up on the courses as much as you think you can handle to get the double.

Common core requirements for a business degree usually include two semesters of accounting, business law, and statistics or calculus. At the upper-division level, you can usually choose a concentration such as management or finance.
