If you are 14 and pregnant in Michigan can your parent make you give it up for adoption?
No one can make you do anything you dont want to do. If you give the baby up for adoption it is your choice!! They cant tell you wat to do when it comes to your child. But think if you can take care of the child. Good Luck!
If its your baby then shame on you for doing her with a minor! that should be on your concious! but also i believe you should adopt the baby if you ready to be a father.

Is Ahmad Rashad Geoffrey Simmons biological father?
Yes. Geoffery Simmons was born December 31st, 1967 when Ahmad, formerly Bobby Moore) was attending Mt. Tahoma High School in Tacoma, Washington. Bobby had been dating Melody Neal (Geoffery's mother) for 4 years when she became pregnant as a sophomore at Mt. Tahoma. She left school and had Geoffery at an unwed mother's facility in Seattle, Washington where Bobby would visit. Melody gave up custody of their first son through Medina Children's adoption program. She knew she could not raise him on her own with Bobby being offered scholarship from prestigious universities for his athletic skills. She would regret this greatly and spend the rest of her life earching for her son yet finding him to no avail before she passed from cancer in 1991. Her difficulty in finding him was due to sealed court records and reluctance from Bobby not kno wing what they might find after so many years.
Geoffery was born at Swedish Hospital in Seattle. Geoffery is officially Melody Neal and Bobby Moore's (now Ahmad Rashad's) first son.
Your parental rights were terminated and your daughter was adopted can the adoption be overturned?
I am not at all very sure about this question since I am not a person from the judge or anything, but I don't think it is possible if your parental rights are terminated... Unless the termination is for a short period of time.... Hope you were satisfied by my answer!^^
How do you reverse an adoption in Oklahoma so you can live with your birth parents?
I am uncertain as to the specific laws in Oklahoma, but it is possible to reverse an adoption. Depending on the state you live in, the petition may be filed by the adoptee or the biological or adoptive parents. However, it is a lengthy and expensive process. You will have to check with the courts in your location for information on whether or not it is even possible to reverse adoption in your home state. Furthermore, you will almost certainly need a lawyer.
You must convince the court that you have a compelling reason for your request to reverse the adoption and, even then, the court may deny your request. It is the court's duty to decide whether or not the reversal would be in your best interest and, even if you disagree, they may decide that your adoption is in your best interest.
If your were adopted through foster care, then your birth parent's rights have been terminated; if you manage to reverse the adoption in that case you'll go back into foster care, and will almost certainly not go back with your birth parents.
Is it difficult for a single person to adopt a baby?
It is difficult to be approved but it is possible. The difficulty comes in the ability to care for the child. Many times, both parents work but because there are two people caring for the child, they can take turns. However with one person, it is more difficult to make time to care for the child. If you are financially stable and can provide time for the child the ability to adopt will become greater.
How did the adoption process work in the 1800s?
As in, could a child just be picked up from an orphanage no questions asked, or was it like it is now with extensive paperwork and research?
Can a biological mother regain her rights in IA?
No she can not when the child is adopted. The court would not trust her to not do it again which would be hard on the child. She also agreed to this when signing the papers.

How do you adopt your wifes child if the biological father is not a us citizen?
The biological father have to give up his parental rights or this will not be possible. If he is an illegal immigrant he can still have paternal rights in the US. Once his rights are terminated you can apply for adoption.
If the child was adopted for real there should be papers signed by birth- and adoptive parents. The birth certificate is sometimes changed by the adoptive parents but not always. If the child was just handed to a relative and nothing was singed or they did not go to court for child support or there was no temporary custody signed, it gets trickier. Eye witnesses and people around could testify.
What were children called if they went to other families?
a child raised by someone who is not its natural parent and for a temporary period is known as a 'foster child'. A child raised by another parent on a permanent basis is known as 'adopted'
Well first off, do not let your mother tell you what to do if you don't agree. It is your child and it is your choice. Good for you for trying to get help. I suggest seeking the help of a friend if you are kicked out. Try and get support from the father of the baby. Talk to a school counsellor, I am sure they would have advice, some knowledge and possibly past experience? If you google your local area, I am sure there are hotlines that provide advice and support. You need to ask the people in your life for help, people you wouldn't necessarily consider as being a part of your life. Even teachers could be of assistance. Maybe research if there is a teen mom group in your area? They could definitely offer support and advice. If it comes down to it, try and stay with a friend, or another relative. A homeless shelter is the last place you should consider.
