A recipe calls for 1 cup of cake mix and four eggs the recipe serves 6 people. How many eggs are needed enough to serve 15 people?

Well you have to keep in mind that if you increase the egg amount, you also have to increase the cake mix amount as well. Baking requires precise measurement unfortunately.

So 1st thing you would have to do is double your recipe so that it serves 12 people. That would make it 2cups of cake mix and 8 eggs.

But you want to make 15 which means you need half of the recipe so that it serves 3 and not 6. That would make you double batch of 12 to 15 servings.

So you would need another 1/2 cup of cake mix and 2 more eggs, so your total would be:

2 &1/2 cup cake mix and 10 eggs.....****remember you can't increase one and not the other. That won't work in baking.

Can we cook pizza in a microwave oven?

I think so. First make the dough then shape it. Probably a very thin pizza. Elevate it in the microwave, then cook it on low then medium then maybe a little high until it is no longer gooey especially in the center. Then put toppings on and cook it on a medium or something, then you can blast it on high for as long as you want, unless it explodes or burns I guess, but that didn't happen to me after a couple minutes of boiling cheese.... Maybe if you had some sort of stone it might work better too.

Can you bake a red potato?

Sure can ... did just that last night and served with cube steak! Wash and prepare the red potato's (but don't peel them), cut into quarters or eighths, place in tupperware container that contains a TBSP of olive oil, and a few dashes of Rosemary leaves. Mix well so that all the potato's are equally saturated. Bake in glass dish @ 350° for about 45 minutes ... Delicious!

If you decide not to cut them up, then prepare as normal (but don't peel them) and make certain that you have stabbed them with a fork in several places. You can microwave them for 3 to 4 minutes each (6 minutes for 2, 9 minutes for 3, etc) or bake in conventional oven @ 350° for about an hour.

Can you add food coloring to peanut brittle?

Yes, you could add food coloring to peanut brittle. However, it would be pointless, since peanut brittle is naturally brown, and the food coloring either would not appear at all, or so much would need to be used that it would not produce a pleasing result.

How long after taking a loaf out of the oven do you wait to take it out of the loaf pan?

That depends on the size of the loaf pan, as well as the type of cake. But there is a guide I go by, baking at 350 degrees Fahrenheit, which is:

If it's a standard size loaf pan, which measures approximately 9 1/2 inches long x 5 1/2 inches wide, I would bake it for about 35 to 45 minutes, checking for doneness after about 30 minutes. If it's a small loaf pan, which is approximately 8 3/4 inches long x 5 inches wide, I would bake it for about 25 to 30 minutes, checking for doneness after 20 minutes.

Cakes continue to cook a bit more when removed from the oven because of the heat they retain, so it's better to take them out of the oven just a bit too soon than a bit too late in order to keep them from being dry.

Can wax paper be baked?

This answer is likely to vary based on the brand of wax paper being used. It certainly depends on what you plan to bake with the wax paper.

Reynold's Cut-Rite wax paper is a popular brand of wax paper here in the US. According to the manufacturer's website, this wax paper cannot be used to line cookie sheets for baking cookies because the wax paper "cannot handle the heat" of the oven and exposed areas of wax paper will smoke. On the other hand, again according to the website, this wax paper can be used to line cake pans because the cake will cover the wax paper completely and prevent it from smoking.
