Can you bake a chicken with a little skin and still make it edible?
Chicken is normally baked in the skin. If the skin is removed, the chicken needs to be wrapped in parchment or some other wrap to prevent it becoming too dry.
Because the materials form which it is made do not conduct heat very well and because its construction includes a lot of padding which traps air in the glove. Air too is a poor conductor of heat.
Because of this poor conduction of heat when you pick up something hot when wearing an oven glove it will take a long time for the heat of the object to get through to your hand and burn you.
However, if the oven glove is wet, as water is a good conductor of heat, a wet glove will transmit the heat and you will get burnt.
Should you measure flour before or after sifting?
Difficult question. If you are measuring in volume (cups), the flour will be fluffier after sifting so it may end up being less than the recipe wants. On the other hand, if you scoop the flour into the cup, you can be compacting it a fair bit and end up with a lot more than the recipe wants.
The "standard" way to measure flour, if you are using cups, is to give the flour in the bag/container a bit of a stir then spoon it into your level cup - that is the type with a flat top, not a glass measuring cup with a spout. Do not tap the cup flat or you'll compact it again. Overfill the cup measure then use a straight edge (knife, spoon handle) to push off the excess. Sift the measured flour afterwards.
NOTE: Some recipes expect you to measure the flour after sifting it. The recipe should state this clearly. If it doesn't say so, you can probably assume you sift after.
If you are weighing the flour, it won't matter if you sift before or after. If the recipe wants 4.5 oz of flour, it won't matter if it's fluffy or not, it will still weigh 4.5 ounces before and after sifting.
What food is made with one pound of almond paste one half cup of sugar and three egg whites?
Macaroons are made from ground almonds or almond paste (marzipan), sugar and egg whites.
Use about 2/3 cup each of almonds and sugar and the white of one large or two small eggs.
The three ingredients are beaten together with a pinch of salt until well combined (you can add a little almond extract, but not artificial almond flavour) and then shaped into small balls about 1 inch, or 2.5 cm, in diameter and placed on a baking sheet about 2 inches, or 5 cm apart.
If you like you can press a whole almond gently into the centre.
Bake at 350f or 180c for ten minutes, or until pale gold. Cool completely on a rack before storing in an airtight container lined with paper towels. The macaroons will keep about four days this way; don't refrigerate them.
There are many macaroon recipes available; check them out to see which you prefer. Coconut is a popular ingredient.
The link below has an excellent recipe from the Odense company which makes marzipan and almond products.

They are not directly in contact with all of the heat from the oven. Also, the moisture from the cupcake batter protects them, as does being inside the cupcake sheet.

Probably, but canned cream is sometimes aerated; if this is the case, you need to whip the heavy cream before using it as a substitute.

How many cups of granulated sugar equals 4 pounds?
This answer may vary as it is impossible to get the exact same amount of sugar in your cup each time. If we go by the rule that there are 8oz in a cup and 16oz in a pound then the answer would be 8 cups. That being said when I decided to break out my scale and measuring cups it ended up being 8 and 3/4 of a cup of granulated sugar in 4 pounds.
