If either of those two items isn't there, the EGR system has been disabled, and you can put an early muffler on the car. If the pipe is there, you need to use the 1974 (expensive!!!) muffler.

I doubt you are putting an originalused exhaust system on as most of them have long ago rusted into oblivion. Most people have eliminated the EGR system from their vehicles with aftermarket exhaust systems long ago, however, if you have to use the original emissions sytems (or just want to) in your area there are original type aftermarket exhaust systems with EGR still available.It is not likely you will have to use the original exhaust system w/EGR, and performance, sound, and price advantages to an aftermarket system is usually preferred.
Lady beetles get into my attic eaves to hibernate during winter. They exude a "nutty" odor which attracts the colony. This past spring I began experiencing issues with pesky squirrel which managed at least once to get in by slipping between staples holding down the screening. I found evidence where the squirrel snacked on the lady beetles, and that is all it seems to have done; now the squirrel is literally tearing my house apart trying to get back in after I reinforced the screening.

If you want to change just the antenna it just unscrews. If you need to change the base I had to do it on my 99 vw beetle. At the back of the roof liner there is a plastic piece that comes off with a trim tool. You can get your hand up there to remove the bolt and then replace the base. The base cost me $65.00 Cdn at the dealers. Just use the old nut then you won't have to buy another one as they charge $10.00
