Birth control affects everyone differently. I heard that yasmin has something in it that counteracts water retention thus helps with weight gain, and sometimes can make you lose weight. But since birth control affects everyone differently, some people still gain weight on it because of the synthetic estrogen and progesterone (which are stored in fat cells)... Yasmin also mildly helps acne.

I'd say .. if you wanted to figure out what would happen if you stopped taking yasmin, you'd have to assess what actually happened to you while taking it. Your body would slowly go back to normal. It's not one huge change that happens within a few days so there'd be nothing to worry about.

It is possible you could be pregnant. The same thing happened to me. I was on Yaz and had sex, but never started my period while taking the sugar pills. I did eventually start though, it was about the second or third day after starting a new pack. You could be late due to stress (I think that was my problem).
