it's located on the right side of the trunk there going to be 2 scrws you gone have to remove those and lift the plastic thing covering the battery

The only way I have found so far is to buy a service reset tool. Go to http://www.bavauto.com/se1.asp?dept_id=375 and you can buy one with a built in code reader as well. I would imagine there is a way to do it without the tool, but I have not discovered it as yet. edit by copteaser: There is a manual way and it's farely easy.

If your OBC needs to be reset after completing your oil change, there are two ways. NOTE: If you miss a step, just turn the key back off and try again:

A. Model Year 1999 to Mid-2000: You should have the older round 20-pin DLC connector under your hood behind the battery terminal, you need to use a small length of wire to connect (short) pins 7 and 19 for 3-5 seconds with the ignition key in position 1 (Accessory).

B. After Mid-2000: You should not have the 20-pin DLC connector. You only need to hold the left odometer reset button while turning the key to position 1 (Accessory). Keep holding the button for 5 or so seconds until any of the following shows in the display: OIL SERVICE or INSPECTION with RESET or RE. Release the button and press it again for another 5 or so seconds until RESET or RE flash. While the display flashes, press the button one more time briefly. If done correctly, END SIA should show up for a few seconds. All done.

Depending on the year and model, the wood trim usually just prys out. Take a small flat head screwdriver and GENTLY pry up one corner then use your had to slide along the bottom and pry it off the rest of the way

you will need a 32mm wrench a 10mm 11mm 13mm socket and a flat head screw driver. With the 32mm wrench, take the fan blade off by turning clock wise. Once fan is out of the way use the screw driver to remove the clips on the upper & lower rad. hoes. the thermostat is held on with 3 10mm bolts take them off and 1 13mm bolt. when you remove the 13mm bolt you will also need to loosing the 11mm nut that holds the engine pull bracket. install in rev. order

as you open the hood or bonnet, there will be a square oil cap located on the front left of the top of the engine (passenger side) nearest the fan or radiator, it will have a picture of an oil spout on it.

the oil filter is on the the drivers side nearest the fan or radiator, it is a enclosed canister with a black cap with a nut on top of the cap for easy removal, 21 or 22mm socket i believe. unscrew the cap and remove the internal filter, dont forget the rubber O ring on the cap to replace at the same time, should come withe the filter.

Be sure to drain all the oil before removing the cap for the oil filter or you will have an over flow of oil out of the oil filter canister upon removal.

this car takes 7 to 8 qaurts of oil.

On the passenger side, Remove the headlight cover by flipping the latch. Disconnect the main electric harness. Disconnect the wire harness to the light bulb, you can pull on it. At the top of the bulb you can slide the latch and open it, be careful as the latch will pop out, the bulb should pop out.

The driver side is a bit more tricky as there is less room to get your hand inside the headlight assy, just take your time and you can get the bulb out.

I loosened the 2 top bolts that hold the headlight assembly to have a little play as I installed the new bulb. It's recommended you do not touch the bulb with your bare fingers. You can use thin surgical gloves or just be careful not to touch the bulb. Put in the bulb, make sure it goes into the slot, by looking thru the headlight. Relatch the clip. I used a mirror and flash lite to see what I was doing. Once you set the clip then install the wire connector. Be sure to test the lights before putting the caps back on and install the mount bolts on the headlight assy and there u go!
