# Disconnect the negative battery cable. # Drain and recycle the engine coolant. # Disconnect the heater core hoses using tool J-37097 or equivalent. # Remove the right side sound insulator and the glove box module. # Remove the programmer shield, if equipped, and disconnect the air mix valve link. # Disconnect the programmer vacuum and electrical connectors. # Remove the heater core cover, leaving the programmer attached. # Remove the heater core retaining screws and the heater core.

The fuel injectors would be above the cylinders in the head.

This particular engine has been noted for its quality. As long as it is correctly maintained then it should last around 200,000 miles before any remedial work is required.

One of two things, either the system is low on freon due to a leak somewhere, or if the system has been recovered, evacuated, and recharged to verify a full charge of R134-A, then there is most likely a faulty sensor or connector at the sensor. Use a real scan tool that can monitor the various A/C sensors and do a wiggle test of the wiring if the sensor readings appear correct. A DTC could lead right to the cause.

If you are refering to regular gas, it's not recommended. Some people use it as well as myself due to the fact of gas prices. What I do is add a gas octane boost to compansate for the lower octane fuel.

There could be something more serious or different but after assuring for say 20 minutes that the engine has cooled down when off, possibly the relay is stuck and a light tap will help it switch off (possibly the first few times you will have to help it get through a little corrosion before it no longer needs the help tap).

A relay location I experienced (1989 coupe deville here) is one or some of the three relays a few inches from the battery connections and I heard there may be one near the glove box or fuses inside the car (I tapped on a stuck one of the three to get the cooling fan to go off).

It is most likely under the dash on the driver side close to the fuse block. You may need to move wires around to find the flasher.

This is very simple, but takes a whole lot of unscrewing and screwing. First you must take the radiator overflow tank off. Just two screws, simple. Then take off the serpentine belt. Next, unscrew the power steering just in case the pipes get in the way but dont take it all the way off, keep the pipes connected. Now take off the pulley, there wont be very much space but take your time. Then you may take the screws off the water pump there are about 20 of them (they should be size 10mm size, plus some star screws, there should be two of them), good luck with that. Then replace the gasket and make sure there is a good amount of fluid, ask your local Murray's man about that, then put all things back on exactly how they came off.
