First make sure the car is completely cooled off. You do not want to ever open a radiator cap if the car is hot!!!!!! This can be extremely dangerous if done. So First open the hood of your car, then look at the front under the hood where the hood latches when you close it. You Will see a black cover around it. You will need to remove all the screws in it and remove it first. Next after you have removed the top radiator cover you will need to unscrew the fans there is only a few screws on the top to remove and three on the bottom to remove, you will also have to unscrew the hose on the air conditoner from the radiator, its only attached with a screw and is not actually hooked up to the radiator, it is just a way to hold the hose in place to insure it doesn't hit the fans. Now once you have unscrewed all the screws from the fans you will need to look in the middle of the fan, on the right, and unhook the electrical connector from it. This is very simply done by looking closely at the connector, you will see the piece where it is fasetend, take a flat head screwdriver and push it loose with it. Then the fan on the left has a connector also on it but it is coming from the fan you just unhooked. Now that you have it all unhooked. you can pull the right fan out first. After you have the right fan out take the left fan and move it over to the spot the first fan was in and then pull it up and out. Next there is the top hose to take off. use the large pliers to open the clamp and just pull it off. Next look at both sides of the radiator there are plastic tanks on both sides. those tanks have two metal hoses on both tanks remove all those and then take off the bottom black water hose, just as you took off the one on top and the radiator should come out.

You actually will have to reach under the bumper to take out the bolts on the grille and remove it. Then, you will have to bend a hanger into a hook to reach around the back of the lock and grab the loop in which the hood cable connects.

Park the car on a level surface. Drain the oil and change the filter. Pour in 4.5 quarts of the correct weight oil and then start the engine. Let it run for 1 minute and shut off. Wait 30 minutes and check the oil level. Add as necessary to fill to the full mark. You now know the capacity.

the 1993 cadillac deville actually has 3fuse boxes 1-underneath dash near hood release 2-under neath dash below glove compartment. must remove screws from black plastic casing [over a ft. long] 3rd box underneath hood on passenger side ,just beneath windshield wiper ,called maxi fuses, there are lables on the inside of fuse box cover with fuse location # and function.good luck. O O o o 0 O There are 6 ways this belt gets routed I just changed mine after it broke at 140,000 miles Hard to draw a diagram but the digram is usually under the hood ontop of the radiator plastic cover. You have to route this around the main pulley to the tensioner to the power steering pump and other side goes from Altenator to AC to other pulley looks tricky but you can figure it out in a few minutes Only tool I needed was a pry bar to pull back the tensioner. The part I bought was a Dayco Belt 26.95 at Advance auto parts they have a cheaper one for 19.95 but better off with the Dayco. Part number is Dayco Poly Cog 5060835 6PK2120 Good luck this was not to hard just pulled a few hairs out of my head till i figured the darn routing. Best bet for all of use is to look under hood before the thing breaks and get a picture of how it goes before it goes :)

loosen the tensioner bracket, remove old belt. replace with new belt. tighten with tensioner. job complete!

i have a 94 with 18's and that's pushin it 19's tops with super super low profile hope you have good roads around i already poped 2 tires with potholes this winter i haves seen a z28 with 24's but the lift kit was extreme the car was basically above the tires

i have 20's on my maro its a 94 also and i havent poped any tires. the tire size im going on is 245/35/20 they are very close to rubbing but there isn't any contact. im going up to 22's next summer and the only thing it looks like that will need to be done is just some minor trimming but nothing that is noticeable. the tire size im going to is a 235/30/22 and is only one inch bigger total than what i have now. so i might not have to do any cutting but with the price of the tires i don't want any irregular tire wear so i will do some snips just to be safe. good luck

dude maros are supossed to be sportscars 22's are rediculous to put on a sports car they will slow you down so much going from stock rims to my 18's I was over 1/2 a second slower in the quarter 22's you will prob be running like a 16 sec quarter which is ricer territory which is completely unexceptable for a Chevy sports car

well if you were that worried about your times you shouldn't even have the 18's stick with your 16's and get light weight rims but like in my case if im going to do it im going big. im not gutting out my car for better times im adding more things for looks and comfort. i have subs tv's and rims and am not to worried about the weight or how fast im going. the car is still fast when i want to go fast, and if a ricer or another car can beat me then i give them props but i still have the better looking car so im not worried about it. i mean if your tryen to look good for the ladies your usually not going 120 your going slow or not moving at all. so think about it unless your going to the track wich one is what you really want.

5 to 7k at the dealer. You can replace it yourself with a used engine but I would recomend doing a time cert job on the block before installing it and that is a lot of work. Besides headgasket failures these engines are very reliable and can go forever.

you must remove everything above the head. air filter/ intake, fuel lines, distributor, alternator, p/s pump and bracket, valve cover, oil filter, AIR valve's, valve cover, rocker arm assembly, cooling fans, intake manifold, idler pulley, push rods, then the head.
