after removing belt from tentioner and all surrounding items ,You Must Buy or Rent a STEERING PUMP PULLEY PULLER it looks like a small washer split in TWO with threaded rods to Pull off Pulley by the lip on it , a 2 or 3 fingered pulley puller WILL NOT WORK! Auto Zone or NAPA has these for about $30 it works easily .ask how to use it at the store.

You need to put more gas in it

Place the key into the ignition. Turn the key to the auxiliary position, without starting the engine. Keep the key in the auxiliary position for 30 seconds. This should reset your antitheft system.

It is located under the hood on the passenger side, it screws into the evaporator case.

flip up the air filter compartment.

you see a thick lower radiator hose connecting to engine.

theis hose is connected by two bolds 10mm. use rachet to unbolt and you will see a thermostat.

be slow and careful when unscrewing bolts. some coolant will come off, and right beneath is a ABS system which doesnt like water, so you want to cover that with an aluminum foil and wipe out the coolant leakage. have the paper towels ready.

take out the old thermostat and clean the surface of where the thermostat was sitting with metal brush.

cover the thermostat gasket with rubber gasker sealer (not gasker maker)

insert the new thermostat (stunt #14228 $14.99 at pepboys) with springs toward the enjine.

screw in bolts to close radiator hose into engine as it was before.

fill up the coolant tank. with the coolant.

Front or rear door ashtray?

First remove all of the attached trim, molding, and cigarette lighter wires. Some coaxing with a rust penetration oil may be required on the ball bearing and slide. Then remove the old one by grasping it firmly with both hands and exerting an outward force. Some tugging and wrenching may be required. Once it has become loose enough, pull it straight back. It will snap out of its ball bearing socket and slide out. Remove the old slide frame and clean or Replace the mechanism with as new a one that you can acquire. Lubricate all sliding contact points and the ball bearing and slot.

Reverse this procedure to install your replacement.. Assuming that suitable replacements are available.

Symptoms of a blown head gasket are, white smoke from the exhaust that has a sweet smell. Loss of coolant with no apparent leak. Bubbles coming from the radiator with the cap off. Coolant in the oil. Foamy looking substance on the underside of the oil cap. Over full of oil. Miss on any cylinder. A compression test will help determine if you do indeed have a blown head gasket. Stop driving this car until you know for sure. A blown head gasket can do serious damage to the engine in short order. A combustion leak detection kit will give you a fairly definitive answer. This kit includes a container that holds a chemical which reacts to the presence of hydrocarbons (exhaust gasses) in the radiator. The container is connected to a vacuum source, then placed over the radiator neck. Air from the radiator is drawn through the detection liquid, which turns color (yellow in this case) in the presence of exhaust gas. The only way exhaust gas is present in a radiator is if the head gasket is blown. Ergo, the liquid changes color, you're looking at a new head gasket at the very least. You can probably find the kit at an auto parts store; I found mine for about $30 USD at a tool store, but prices ranged upwards of about $45-$50 at the auto parts stores.

How to change radiator on 94 eldorado

it is under the dash driver side inside on firewall

Start by removing the battery and the radiator overflow resavore. this way you can get to the waterpump. Now you need to remove the serpentine belt by loosening it at the top of front of motor using a 1/2 inch socket wrench. Next i would remove the pulley to the waterpump. There are bolts under it that need to be removed. Then start removing all the bolts, nuts and the two hex heads that hold the WP on. There are 17 of em. Now you should be able to remove WP.

First check the emissions label under the hood at the front of the car near the fan shroud. There is a large label telling you important information about your car. The gap for a 1976 Cadillac Eldorado with a 500 ci engine is .060 in. make sure to buy good quality AC Delco plugs and torque them to 25 foot pounds.

Remove the panel directly under the steering column. It is located just back in there.

The Heater core is Either clogged or has gone out. If so you will notice either a leak of antifreeze or you will smell it when you turn your heater on, and your clutch needs to either be adjusted or replaced depending on how long the part has been on your car

hi, could be many answers. Check the water contol valve operation ( under hood connected to heater hoses), do you have a full load of coolant?, also air mix door under dash, is the temp of the coolant hot?.Check them all out, you'll find it

The starter on a 1986 Cadi Eldorado is located under the car right to the left of the oil pan. Look for your flywheel, and you will find your starter.

...it fixed the issue on my 1995 ElDorado, BUT you must disconnect the battery for a little while to reset the computer to allow you to add Freon to the system. I had a leak and it fixed it for about 6 months. Both warnings went away until the system got low again.

1) put gas in it. 2) crank it - it may take a few seconds for the fuel pump to reprime all the lines but it should start back up. If it refuses to start, you may have other problems that are not fuel related.

go to best buy and pay them. Cadillac's are very hard to do yourself. It took best buy an hour just to put in a CD deck for me.

it should be a chain bout the only thing that uses belts are over head cams ::::::: It has chainS it has one chain for each side of the engine to control the cam's its got two of those and than its got one from the crank to an alignment gear in the center so its got 3 chains two the same size and one a different size>>>

Push bottom in then up for bottom. Top has two bolts then lifts up out of clips behind seat
