What is the best way to clean scratches in a porcelain sink?
8/15/2010
I scratched my Porcelain Sink and the best and fastest way was (KOHLER CAST IRON SINK CLEANER) I found it at my local Home Depot. Followed the directions and the gray scratches were gone in less then a minute. This was the best stuff and worked fast i tried all the other stuff i read on line and this was the fastest. Also i sealed the sink with turtle wax and it also kept the scratching way down.

Smooth cook top cleaner works the BEST to remove any scratches. Apply to scratched areas & rub with a paper towel. The marks will disappear within seconds. This works great on white porcelain sinks & bath tubs. See for yourself & you won't be disappointed, I promise!!
Thanks, Mark
This tip is for anyone who has scratches in their toilet (like from a snake, etc.). This is so easy and so inexpensive! Use Comet Cleanser, Bar Keeper's Friend or similar brand and sprinkle into water. I usually sprinkle maybe 1/8 cup. Let sit for several hours. You do NOT have to scrub or touch it in any way!! The scratches will magically disappear! I don't know how but they do with NO effort on your part. I do not know if this works with Soft Scrub or similar products. I have only tried Comet and Bar Keeper's Friend.

Almost nothing is "universal." CD drives are very common, but they certainly aren't found "everywhere." There are even certain types of computers that do not include a CD drive.

Why does your computer restart when you insert a CD in the CD-ROM drive?
Your CD that you're using isn't supporting your operating system most likely. If your PC restarts every time you put a CD in cd-rom then its the problem of your power supply. I had it too. What I did was I removed the connection of the cooling fan (remember not the power supply fan, what the heck -- you can't do it anyways). Then try putting a CD in it. This is because your power supply is of less voltage. Whenever your CD-Rom tries to read a CD it overloads or in short cuts off the power supply. Try doing it or else buy a better power supply. It would definitely solve your problem.
The sweatshirt was invented in the early 1900's by Russell Corporation of Alexander City, Alabama when the owner Ben Russell's son complained that wool shirts used in football pratice were uncomfortable. Russell then modified a version of an undergarmet into the earliest form of the sweatshirt.
Should you use CDs or DVDs to back up your computer?
It really depends on how much stuff you need to back up. CDs can usually hold 800 MB (megabytes) of storage. Standard DVDs can hold 4.7 GB (4812.8 MB) of storage. Dual/Double Layer DVDs can hold 8.5 GB, and some of the new Blu-ray discs can hold up to 25 GB of storage. To back up your computer, you need a CD Burner or DVD Burner. I would recommend investing about $40 in a good DVD Burner and then backing up your most important data using normal or dual/double layer DVDs. However, if you really want to spend a lot of money backing up your PC and making it easy, you can buy external hard drives for a couple of hundred bucks that will hold 500 GB and make it really simple for backing up your computer.
How to take apart a DVD drive?
Remove the screws from the back and take off your sides. This will allow you to remove the top if need be. You will then see sets of wire harnesses running into your DVD drive (if you need mark the wires that go to your drives), Their will be a clip lock on the back, do not force anything, play around and study it you'll figure it out. You'll be able to remove it once this clip or lock is moved(usely marked with lock, unlock)Good luck!

How do you burn info onto a CD and how does a CD player read a CD?
Information is applied to CDs by taking a laser and burning grooves into a disk. CD players must sense this groove in order to be able to extract information from the disk. This is also why scratches on compact disks may interfere with the information stored on the disk.
Answer 2To burn information onto a CD, you must have a special recordable disc,(a CD-R) a machine that is capable of recording and software to care of the process.
Latest versions of Microsoft Windows are already equipped with the burning software, once a recordable disc drive is detected. You can also use other burning software such as 'Nero'.
Commercial, pre-recorded, discs are mechanically stamped with the pits that the laser can read.
Laser light reflected off the disc, is picked up by optical lenses and mirrors. The changes in reflection from the pits in the metal foil can be read as 1's and 0's for processing by a computer and returned as data or music.
The clear plastic coating over the metal foil protects the indents on the disc.
Recordable media is different. There is a special coating inside the disc, which can be affected by a high power laser. In record mode, the special laser heats the crystal structure which then takes up a different crystal arrangement.
The laser and optics reading the disc, can detect the minute crystal structure and read the data as 1's and 0's.
CD-R discs can only record once.
CD-RW discs can record and re-record several times.
CD-RW use magetism, to redirect the crystal structure during the burning phase and it is reversible.

Who invented the Winchester 30-30?
John Moses Browning. Created the 1894 Winchester for the then new 30-30 cartridge. The first to bo loaded with "new" somkeless powder. He is responsible for maybe 80% of American Firearm designs. The most famous the 1911 .45acp used by the Americam Military from 1911 to 1984-85. The Browning .50cal Heavy machinegun, still in service. He was so adept that Winchester hired him to protect their own business by keeping many of his designs off the market. He was to Firearms what Henry Ford was to cars. And yes he is the Browning of Browning Firearms and Clothing etc.
I, being a male, believe that it is not a form of control, yet exactly the opposite. It is security, due to his failing relationship, he feels like he has a place to go. Also, if he has your key, and things don't work out the other way, he's got an "in" so to speak. Don't give him a key till he has no other realationship. Your being put on the back burner! Hope this helps.
Is it a good idea to put laptop in sleep mode while burning a DVD?
That's a good question , first of all there's pro's and cons about that
sometimes when you get your computer to go on sleep mode it makes your burning
time slower and sometimes wreck your computer system , so i would suggest
to just leave it how it is =D

How do you burn a CD on itunes with an external CD drive?
Hope this helps!
First of all, you need a video card in the computer capable of taking a video signal in. And usually, with a good video card, comes the software you'll need to make things work. Maybe the camera came with some software for computer downloads too, and there's tons of free software for editing, etc. on the internet if you'll take the time to search for it.
