Can you be more spacific about your problem? i mean you plug the plug into your obd1 outlet and the turn the key just before it cranks over then turn on unit and click read codes. It will give you a number and then you look up the number it gives you... SIMPLE

Or if both engines are the same size, one could have a different gear ratio or a different transmission.
You could have a mustang with a 302 and a camaro with a 350 and it would seem since the Chevy had a larger displacement that it would be faster, but the mustangs transmission and rear end could be geared lower and make the mustang faster, but if the Chevy had a higher gear it may win, but that also depends if it is a quarter or an eight of a mile.

1995 was in between OBDI and OBD II. A hybrid. Most shops cannot connect either. Dealers have the equipment.
What happens when a body control module goes out in a 2002 Pontiac aztek?
My BCM went out in my 2001 Pontiac Aztec a few years back and i had all kind of problems with it. My engine was idling really high as soon as i put it in park. My mileage stopped counting and most of the lights on my instrument panel were on if not all of them. The car still ran but if the BCM would have completely failed the car would not run. At least that is what the dealer told me. If your car is not under warranty be prepared to spend about 15 to 18 hundred to replace it.
Mine recently went out and it began with the instrument cluster lights flashing on and off, and the gauges going to "off" and then back on. The car performed fine, except for that. If it does totally fail, you will be stranded with a non-running car. I bought mine online (amazon.com, rockauto, brightauto) for $168+shipping. If you're not afraid to do some work, you can remove all the trim around the BCM and take it to a trusted facility and see if they'll let you remove it and replace it, and then they'll just have to program it. Mine let me do this, and charged me $70 for programming. Total of $243, and about 2 hours worth of work. If you are able to do this, take your time removing the trim, there are some "hidden" screws...it can be fragile, I had to repair one piece of mine.

I have an 1981 camaro and the air pump on that is an emission related part located on the front of the engine compartment. My understanding is that it pumps air to to make the engine exhaust meet the emissions requirement. These pumps are not in the older prior to computer and emissions standards. Another expensive thing next to the catalytic converter. Can thank the green groups.
