It's way up in behind the engine between the engine and the firewall. It's in such a bad location, from the 2006 model year on, it was relocated.

I just had one changed, the poor mechanic had to raise and lower the hoist about 6 times - a little work from above, a little work from below. The water pump needed to come off too, so a couple new gaskets there.

If you're wondering about the P0128 DTC, yes, changing the thermostat fixed it (in my case).

take a spray bottle and mix it with water and some soap and spray that were you think that you might have a leak and if the soap starts to bubble you have a leak there.

Check the gas pedal. My daughters engine power reduced message came on and we thought it was the battery and alternator. We replaced those and the car still was doing the same thing--(loss of power only would go 50 mph). We were told it was the gas pedal. Open the truck and remove the two fasteners (left or right side) that secure the bungee net. This will allow the carpet liner to be pulled forward to access the brake/running light bulb. Twist the bulb socket to remove the bulb.

The 2 are not compatible and should be completely drained to include the heater core. Then replace it with the green antifreeze as there is a class action suit against General Motors regarding Dexcool.

The PCM is located on the drivers side of the engine compartment about 3/4 of the way toward the headlights, it has a big black plastic cover over a grey-metal finned plate Texas toast thick plate and it has two sets of wiring harness's coming out of it.

All you have to do to replace it is remove the black plastic cover, unhook the harness cables, and remove it based on what screws and bolts you can get to.

Be warned, the replacement PCM must match the VIN on the BCM or your car WILL NOT START.

My 2007 LS has a 13.3 gallon tank according to the owners manual, however the pumps have occasionaly pushed 14 into them...

My daughter has a 2005 Chevy Cobalt that was bought used from a dealer without a manual. So I called Chevy to find out if I could get an engine diagram and they told me that they didn't know what I was needing. They did tell me how the engine was set up and about how they have changed the engine and have taken out the standard dip sticks, you can't even check the transmission fluid anymore. Long story short-they don't even have one. I ordered a manual for the car and am told it should be here some time next week. Sorry, I couldn't have been more help to you, but thought it would be helpful to know what I came across.

From what I have seen, people usually average 28-31 in mixed driving. Some people do worse, some do better. It all depends on where you drive and how you drive. They are pretty comparable to a Ford Focus or Toyota Corolla as far as mileage is concerned.

right next to the engine is the transmission on the drivers side, there is a little cap under all those cables, right under the a/c line goes through, when u take the cap off you can see inside, with the car off put oil, to check it turn on your car.

You can't unless you have the tool to do so. You have to take it to the dealership. Some charge about 40 to 50 bucks. I took mine in and they charged me 0! Shop around and make sure you get there when it opens, otherwise you'll be sitting there all day.

The first place to start looking is the spark plug wires. They can be checked with an ohm meter. Rule of thumb is 5000 ohms per foot of wire.

It might be in the inside of the drivers door jamb, or in the trunk by the spare tire look for exterior paint code designated -bc/ cc this number can be cross referenced by your local auto paint supplier or your dealer.
