NEW ANSWER: Yes it will fit. But the problem is that the 1990 computer and transmission wiring harness will not operate that 1993 model 4L60E or the 4L80E transmission. Your 1990 model had the 700R4 in it and that is not electronic controlled like the 93 is.

Chevy uses letters for models example G= full size van, C= full size 2wd pickup, K= full size 4x4 pick up. They use numbers for capacity 20 stands for 3/4 ton, 10= 1/2 ton, 30= 1 ton van.

The knock sensor is located on the bottom of the block just above the oil pan rail. It is either on the driver or passenger side depending on motor size, and is about 1/2 way from the front of the block.

go to NAPA , buy the motor and instructions. the door handle is held by a U shaped clip. you can hook it with a wire or buy the tool. Panel just screws on. Remove it and the metal panel behind it. Then its all exposed but tight. get the glass out of the channel,pull it up and block it with a piece of wood. now remove the motor.note the position of the arm and be sure to follow instructions to secure the spring in the assembly so you dont lose any body parts when you take the motor off and put on the new one. Like I said, everything is close and tight in the door . You can do this but may needa few bandaids. When at the parts store,consider one of the books for your make and model .

In order to accurately answer this question, first thing is you have to know your wheelbase which is listed in the options label which is located on the bottom side of the hood because these vans were available in various lengths which is a factor in how much the vehicle weighs and also that information should be labeled in the driver side door jamb of the vehicle, I know this because I myself own a 1985 G20 van. The wheelbase is on the options label and mine is 125 inches and the GVWR rating on mine is listed on the door jamb which mine is 6,600 lbs. This should answer your question

93 thru 99 3.0 motors have IAT but later models do not

Not easy... one needs to remove the complete dash cover. There are several Phillips type screws at the windshield vents. Then there are several 10 mm bolts on the underside bottom of the dash on each side. I was able to lift up the whole dash just enough to get my arm up under the speaker locations to get the four nut head screws out. If I had to do this again I would bypass the old speakers and install new ones in a different location. Took all day and my arms looked like I was trying to get angry cats in a gunny sack!

It would be easier in this case to list the things that would NOT cause this problem; Seats, interior, glass, and the radio. Things that could cause this problem Begin at the Battery and end at the tailpipe. If the engine does not crank (turn over) battery, starter, ignition switch (and all wiring in-between) If the engine cranks but does not start: *all wiring, connectors, fuses, sensors *Fuel Pump, fuel delivery system *Spark system (sensors, pickups, cap, plugs rotor, wires, plugs) *Electronic systems (PCM, ECM, and all sensors) There are simply too many things that could cause this, the question is too broad and the subject involves at least a thousand factors.

It can be complicated, but if you have any knowledge of vehicles it will be easy. First you must take all the screw out that hold on the door panel, about ten around the outside. Two will be in the armrest. The door handle is next to be removed, this can be done with a specialty tool or the common flathead screwdriver. You choose. When the panel is off disconnect wires going to power locks and power window switches. then take the 4 screws that hold the inner panel off. Now comes the tricky part, the bolts that hold the power window motor into place are buried under the inner skin sheet metal, but you can see them. Take you handy dandy tin snips and cut the sheet metal away. Take the three bolts out and wahla motor is out.

The g20 was designed in the sixties, and as a result, fuel economy wasn't really an issue. They're big, heavy, and aerodynamically awkward. You can't do much about that except try to adjust driving habits.

Try not to drive quite so quickly. Driving at 65 instead of 75 can improve your mileage by a fairly substantial amount, and doesn't add up to all that much more time on shorter trips. If you're driving around town more than on the highway, try not to hit the gas quite as hard between stoplights.

Also try to reduce excess weight. While it doesn't add up to much on the highway, more weight requires more gas to accelerate, so it does make a difference around town. If you can easily unbolt some stuff that you don't need, go for it, providing you can get it back in afterwards for when you do.

Running on premium or higher-octane gas will also improve your mileage somewhat, but because it costs more, you might not really be getting much benefit. Google hypermiling techniques. Most of what you'll get is what I said above, though.

Open the hood and disconnect the battery ground cable. Raise the hood, remove the wiper arms and the three screws holding the wiper motor, lift the motor out from under the dashboard. Replace the wiper motor,and do the steps vice versa.?æ

Remove the 4 screws and remove the trim around TV slide the TV out and the TV itself has a fuse there is also a inline fuse just above the battery under the hood. Mine were not marked so you may have to use an VOM meter to test each fuse.

The intake manifold is leaking from the water jacket. That is a common problem

on V8 and V6 engines over a period of time. That is the only thing that can leak water back there. There are 4 water jackets in the intake, 1 on each corner of the intake front and back. Hope I helped. NEED TO REPLACE INTAKE GASKET

i had the same problem and when i took the brake lights out and check the wire, it happend to be the ground was not connected, after i connected to the wall it work fine. to make it easier take both brake lights out, the whole light from the back, then look at all the wires on both side, if u see something diffrent then u problebly have ur problem
