What may cause the heater to work only on one side of the 2004 impala?

WARNING!
If your radio has anti theft code then make sure you have
the code to unlock the radio.
Disconnect battery for a few minutes and then reconnect.
If you don't have the radio code,bring car to dealer or repair shop
to get a code from the vehicle(not radio code)
The heater diagnostic code will start with a "B".
Example would be; B0248,B0268,B0408,B0428 ect...
Most dealers charge a flat rate to read the codes.
If you know someone at a regular repair shop they might do it
cheaper or free.
The code might give you a general idea of what the cost would be
to fix your car.
Where can one purchase a used 64 Impala?
A used 64 Impala would not normally be available for sale at a regular used car lot. These cars would need to be purchased directly from an owner or from a car dealer who specializes in restored "classic" cars. A website called Carsforsale can help locate these sources.
Where is the fuse for seat heaters in a 2001 impala?
Open your driver-side door, look at the side of the dash. There is a hole that says "fuses"...use your finger to pull that panel out toward the door hinge. There should be a diagram on the inside of that panel. Also found on page 6-61 in your manual. 1. Driver seat is on the top row, closest to the engine compartment. (labeled "15") On the opposite side of the dash you will find another panel, pull it off. 2. Passenger seat is 3rd in the row, labeled "15" also.
Does it make a difference for the car if you put regular gas or premium gas?
Yes, I have a 2004 Acura TSX with 45,000 miles on it. I used regular gas when it was $4.00 a gallon and I got worse MPG by about 3.5 and the engine was "spark Knocking". Hope this helps.
it is most likely a burnt out fuse, or the whole instrument cluster is shot. that happened to my 2002 impala. all gauges froze, and nothing worked. I would check the fuse first before replacing the entire cluster. Best of luck
How to remove a cavalier door panel?
go to napa auto parts and ask them for a door panels retainer removal tool. Yeah that thing helps a lot. After you do that it's just a bunch of screws and pull-out clips. Just 'Pull it out'. Don't loose those little u-shaped window handle clips! You have to buy a bunch at an auto store just like I did!
1992 astro van how do you remove rear inside door panel when door is locked lock is broken?
In my 1990 Astro van, removing the rear door panel to get to the door lock/handle assembly was eay. Remove the rear seat and remove the Phillips screws in the right rear door panel. Reach up into the door and manually open the door, once open, you remove the access panel in the jam of the door to jain access to the door lock and handle assembly.
========
I have a 1992 cargo Astro EXT, and a 1994 Suncraft conversion Astro. My 1992 van was built in the USA; my Starcraft was built in Mexico and is about 2 inches shorter from the back of the front seats to the inside panel on the rear doors.
If you have a short "standard" Astro (non-EXT) and stock rear seat, then removing the rear seat could possibly be necessary. Regardless, here is what you need to do to remove the *panel* (I didn't want to answer a question to which you didn't want or need the answer):
In the cargo van, and possibly in the passenger version produced by Chevrolet (and in the Astro's twin, the Safari -- by GMC), the Phillips-head screws securing the large panel on the lower half of the interior panel of the doors are visible;
however, if you have a conversion van (or your doors are otherwise upholstered), the screws may be covered.
Usually, the upholstery panel can be carefully pried off using long (flat-head) screwdrivers or something similar. The fasteners used to hold the panel on are very strong, and the panel has a relatively weak core -- so if you don't want to damage the panel, expect to spend 30 minutes or more removing it.
If you discover that you've damaged the panel, you can build a replacement (or have an upholstery shop do it for you): they're not exactly rocket science.
I was able to remove my inside rear door panels on my Starcraft Conversion without removing the rear seat. I did eventually remove my rear seat in that van (it was a seat/bed), but if someone was able to access the rear threaded fasteners that secure the seat to the floor, he or she should have no problem removing the panels without removing the seat (in the EXT body).
