1. the ragtop has shrunk

2. the fact that some areas go through season change cause the screws that align the top to loosen of tighten. all you need to do is adjust them to align the top.

It probably is lined up, but can be very difficult. What you have to do is this:

1. Pull it forward as far as you can.

2. Reach up to the roof at the highest point and pull down, while

3. Pushing forward by the latch.

4. Get one side in but don't lock it in, then repeat steps 1-2 on the other side.

5. Once both latches are in, then lock them.

6. Believe me, this may seem hard, but it needs to be a tight fit. There are some Allen screws that can be loosened to adjust the locks, but think hard before you try... No good deed ever goes unpunished! :)

Follow hose from radiator to engine. The hose at top of radiator near coolant reservoir tank. Where it connects to engine is where the thermostat is. There are two screws. Stripped mine. You know its the thermestat because the hose going there stays hard after running engine for a while, and you would be able to squeeze it if the thermostat opened up.

You have to remove the back seats.. and then the panels.. windows are held in by 10mm bolts.. disconnect the connectors at the bottom if the window unit.. Allow an hour to do this.. PIA job

Just found the answer to my own question. Code 12 means the battery has recently been disconnected and over time the code will disappear.
