How did navel oranges get their name?
A navel orange is a special type of orange which has a little surprise inside once it is peeled: a partially formed undeveloped fruit like a conjoined twin, located at the blossom end of the fruit. From the outside, the blossom end is reminiscent of a human navel, leading to the common name of "navel orange." These oranges are cultivated primarily in Brazil, California, Arizona, and Florida, and they are among the most common and popular of orange varieties. You may know the navel orange as a Washington, Riverside, or Bahia Navel Orange. If you're in a formal mood, you can call it by its scientific name, Citrus sinensis. This orange varietal is the result of a single mutation which occurred on a plantation in Brazil in 1820. The mutation led to the formation of a conjoined twin enclosed within the rind of a seedless orange, and it proved to be a hit, so people began cultivating it in other regions. The first American location of cultivation was Riverside, California, explaining the alternate name of "Riverside Orange." Because the navel orange is seedless, it can only be propagated through cuttings. Technically, every navel orange comes from the same orange tree; the Brazilian orange which generated a spontaneous mutation hundreds of years ago. Orange farmers take cuttings from their navel orange trees and grat them onto fresh stock periodically to ensure that their orchards stay healthy, and also for the purpose of expansion.
How do you get rid of mold on citrus trees?
To get rid of mold on a citrus tree first determine what pest is causing the problem and eliminate it by using Neem oil. Once the pest is eliminated the mold can be cleaned easily off the tree.
Naval Oranges are indeed seedless.
The naval end of a naval orange is a "conjoined" twin making the whole orange sterile as soon as the flower starts to fruit. Thus not making any seeds.
Also the only way to grow a naval orange tree is by grafting a naval orange branch onto another citrus tree, or from growing a plant from a naval orange root stock.

Simply, a lime is green while a lemon is yellow. Lemonade is more popular than limeade. Tell me more differences and similarities of these fruits in the discussion page! Hope this helps!

Tips:
Why might the fruit on your orange tree not ripen?
Orange trees ripen differently than apples and peaches. Overtime they will mature but ripening depends on weather conditions or disease. Gardeners find that inadequate sunlight, poor irrigation, drought, or timing causes this interruption.
Are oranges part of the melon family?
Taxonomically speaking, no. They branch away (pun intended) at the "Order" level, with Oranges being Sapindales, and Melons being Cucurbitales.

Where are seeds located in a orange?
The seeds are located everywhere, really. So, be careful when taking a bite...you'll never know if the seed's there! My trick is to hold up the slice in the sunlight, and if there's a dark oval in the middle, there's a seed.
How long does it take a tree to grow oranges?
it normally takes two to four monthes to produce the oranges on the tree .
Where are blue jay oranges from?
If you mean Blue Jay Navel Oranges that come in the box with the beautiful, colourful artwork, then they come from Johnston Farms, in the San Joaquin Valley, California. Check out their website.
Also note that there are NO Blue Jays (the bird) in California, except when the Toronto Blue Jays play there. Blue Jays are not West of the Rockies. Many Californians think they have Blue Jays there but they are really seeing Stellar's Jays or Western Scrub Jays. People here in Vancouver, BC (where I live) also make the same mistake.
Also, I think the picture of the Blue Jay on the Johnston Farms box is not quite anatomically correct. Their picture shows the head crest too prominent and the bill of the real bird does not have such a pronounced droop. Not surprizing since they don't have the real bird to draw from in CA -- or maybe they do and Pamela Anderson's plastic surgeon and PeeWee Herman's hairdresser have gotten at it!
