What fees can you charge when charging customers for returning goods?

Most companies stock a restocking fee of up to 15%, if the part is not defective. However, I think this may scare customers away. One thing you may want to offer is to diagnose the problem and suggest the right product/part to fix it. Sometimes I find that once you explain that it may not be as simple as buying a part and popping it in, they go ahead and have you (the expert) do it. It'll just be more pleasant for all parties.

How is ram measured and is 2GB to 4GB max good for ram?

Ram is measured in bits and bytes in logical amounts, such as 128 mb, 256 mb, 512 mb.. and so on and so forth.

The amount of RAM needed depends on the actions being used on the computer. Basic e-mail, web surfing and light gaming are likely fine with 2 gigs of ram. Four would offer a noticeable speed increase due to less dependence on swap space/temp files.

If you plan on doing video editing, audio editing (not listening, editing) or heavy gaming or lots of multitasking and Virtual machine work then more ram is almost always better.

Keep in mind that 4gb of ram is the maximum addressable amount for a 32bit operating system. Going beyond that will require a 64bit OS in order to take advantage of more physical RAM.

Hope that helps!

Is the hp G56 good for gaming?

The HP G56 is not particularly well-suited for gaming, as it features older hardware and integrated graphics that may struggle with modern games. It is better suited for casual gaming or older titles rather than demanding, resource-intensive games. If you're looking for a laptop primarily for gaming, it's advisable to consider a model with dedicated graphics and a more recent processor.

How much memory do you need to run multiple applications at the same time?

There is no one right answer to this question. Basically, it depends on the Operating System (OS) that is running on the computer. Every OS has minimum system hardware requirements, which include memory, processor, disk space, etc. If those minimum system hardware requirements are met, and the OS supports the running of multiple applications at the same time, it should work. Performance, however, will vary according to the system hardware.

Also note that performance depends on the type of applications and the demand on those applications (design and virtual machine programs use much more). In some environments a computer user may open 10-20 different applications (or subsequent sub apps) in which not even a modestly performing computer system can handle. If the physical memory on the system is exceeded there is also paged/virtual memory which is cached on the hard drive temporarily. Almost all operating systems and applications will state their memory requirements, so taking those requirements into account can give you a general idea of the amount of memory you will need.

Does your internet bill go up if you buy a laptop?

Yes it may go up. But it should not be more then $20.00 a year. Change the power settings by going to control panel / power settings. Also you can unplug it from the wall when ever your not using it. You do this because all electronics pull power when plugged in even when off.

Hp pavilion elite e9120y desktop price?

Just bought one last night for $839.99. Absolutely worth the money. No monitor, but I threw in the HDMI cable and hooked it up to my 62'' HDTV for supreme video. Future upgrades should include a better video card (the equipped is capable of only low to moderate performance - though, much better than all the other HP's with integrated cards). Could also use a faster HDD; but the 1TB capacity makes up for this, somewhat... Will probably upgrade to a, much, smaller 10k RPM drive for my 'most used' apps.
