The reason why it is discontinued is becuase it was a failure. Sony was offering 10 free games for the psp go in UK, while they were offering 3 free games with the psp go in USA. Edit: I actually think it's based on your text messages. When I searched for myself it came back with things I'd said in texts...but the biggest give away was "wants to get naughty with [someone], has a stunning body" which was a joke i sent to a friend where i took a photo of myself in just jeans and bra and said "let's get naughty!". This is the only way it could have picked up that i wanted to "get naughty" with my friend, or that i have a "stunning body" (i don't, lol, but thanks Buddy).

Basically. You send a text message to the Buddy service, if you are wanting to know about someone for example you would say "Who is *insert name* from *insert location*?" This is only a entertainment service, so it cannot access personal information that you would prefer to keep private at all. It is not all based on fact, it is just information picked from the internet and adapted into a funny message.

They reply within a few minutes, they are usually answers like;

"Buddy knows that *insert name here* is a blonde bombshell/stunning brunette! *Insert one of the persons internet friends names here* thinks she is beautiful, and *insert name* steals her amazing dance moves!"

OR, if you need another example;
