yes to me because dodge vipers has the torque and power to beat almost any car i seen it beat Porsche and Lamborghini easy...the only downside is handling since the lack of stability

The Corvette is much, much older, first being sold in 1953, with a 6 cylinder motor and no V8 engine option interestingly enough, whereas the first Dodge Viper was released in 1992.

The Viper boasts a truck derrived V10 motor, whereas the Corvette had a Inline-6 motor for a short period and a V8 motor most of its life which was used in a wide range of GM products.

The Corvette's smallest motor was a 3.9 litre Inline-6 and the largest was a 7.4 litre V8, but the Viper engine has rised from 8.0 litre to 8.4 keeping the same V10.

The Corvette's highest ever power output was in the 2010 ZR1 with 638hp from a 6.2 litre Supercharged V8 whereas the most powerful Viper has 600hp from the 4th generation SRT10 with its 8.4 litre V10.

The cars have always been close rivals, but the Corvette has always been more popular, due to is being priced lower than the Viper, but making the Viper more exclusive.

I had the same problem on my 1993 dodge viper. My key fob stopped working when the system was armed and I could not start the engine. After a few hours on the web I found a solution. To manually disarm the alarm, first take off the drivers kick plate under the steering column ( 5 Philips screws) Next, look under the steering column and you will see the security system control box. After locating this find the green/orange wire running from the security box. Take an ordinary similar guage wire and connect it to the green/orange wire where it runs into the security box. Take the other end of your wire and connect it to a ground on your vehicle. As soon as you make this connection the horn will sound three times and your Viper will be disarmed. Start it up.

Yes any Gen 1 Viper ( 1992-95)Trans should interchange although the early 1992 are a one year only animal. All Gen 2 (1992-02) Vipers ( bot GTS and RT/10) are virtually interchangeable although the difference is the gear ratios different between all years Viper Racer

There are many antifreezes on the market which makes choices difficult. Certain wetting agents are added to antifreezes which help absorb heat and give lubricity to antifreeze. There is a drawback to this, it is cycle time. The antifreeze works great for so many cycles or time exposure to metals. Antifreeze also changes pH value over time. With aluminum radiators, iron pump impellers, iron metal pump seals, rubber hoses, some iron heads joined to aluminum blocks antifreeze moves heat all over. The radiator is the heat eliminator however with the drastic heat change that takes place in a radiator it takes a beating by collecting the impurities. Change your antifreeze once every three years whether you drive the car or let it sit. Pull your thermostat and boil it in baking soda for two minutes. Drain and dispose of the antifreeze, flush with good clean water, fill the system with clean water and no thermostat add one heaping tablespoon of baking soda for each quart of water, take your time mix it well, leave the radiator cap off, run this engine until your gauge moves to half the normal temperature. Now you have a clean system, drain it, change whatever hoses you like, put the thermostat back in but drill a .0625 bleed hole in every thermostat from one side to the other. This one hole to allow the air to bleed and prolong thermostat life. Now mix your antifreeze 50 50 any recommended factory brand with distilled water, add a wetting agent (used in diesels) for a hard towing vehicle and i mean hard or you waste your money. These simple steps take time but add life to hoses, pumps, and free up a few horsepower by allowing more constant operating temperatures. As a safeguard pressure check your system during the baking soda cleaning to 1.5 times the radiator cap rating, if something goes fix it. The baking soda will find the smallest leak and its cheaper to fix with a little lost baking soda instead of antifreeze.

It has a V10 8.4L engine which produces 600 horse power and with its light fibreglass body it is very fast however to make it faster you could install performance spark plugs, a new high performance exhaust system or try supercharging the engine however this is expensive and might not actually make much more difference due to the fact that it is already very fast. If you want something simple, get the engine tuned; as these viper engines are factory made and may not have been put together carefully tuning it could make a small difference. However if you are asking about the old dodge viper, getting it tuned could most likely make a lot of difference as over the years it owuld have lost Horse power.
